I am looking forward to connecting and networking with my Florida comrades! Please remain stedfast in prayer for our state. In fact, let's begin a prayer revival in our assigned territories so that we can behold and take part in the greatest revival Florida has or will see - for the Glory of God. Those of you that have been unctioned to relocate to this state, IT IS for a time such as this. Please join me on a weekly prayer line beginning Thursday, 1/1/2009 - Florida Intercessors - Thursdays 5:00 a.m. Call: (218) 844-8230, Access: 917585#. Give your name and Florida City represented. The Darkest Hour
by Doris Trueheart

The darkest hour,
They came with lanterns
Seeking the man called "the Christ."

Judas stepped forward,
Welcomed the Savior,
Betraying the Lord with a kiss.

A man seized the Lord.
Peter rushed forward,
Severing the man from his ear.

Jesus then turned to
The man and healed him,
Then to Peter to calmly instruct,

"This is the cup that
My Father has given.
I drink it, for this is His will.

There is no time to
Be moved into violence;
It's always the moment to heal.

Move in each hour
To give God the glory
And love even your enemies, still."

Glad to be here. However, since coming to Florida 4ys ago from NJ, I have been greatly disappointed in the churches here. We have gone from church to church and haven't really found a church home that is serious about God's Word and commands and precepts. I have mainly found emotionally charged churches that are very light on repentance and Kingdom Bizness concerning our particular walk with the Lord as missionaries. We need sound espository doctrine, not just a bunch of hollarin' and dancin' up and down. We want the meat, not the sizzle. I've started to develop cell groups and create home churches on Saturday to receive nothing but the Word of God. Tired of church as usual. We didn't come to Florida for that, but to be equipped and get prepared to go to the nations of the unevangelized. I could've stayed home for that to have church as usual.

I thank God for waking me up out of the madness of church, and to the knowledge of the real church, which is us.

Rom 10:15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!

Hello Friends,

Domestic Violence is a "silent killer" that has infilitrated our churches! Sometimes it is more difficult to deal with controversial topics in a formalized church sermon on a Sunday morning. So, we have extended our ministry to the stage. The powerful stage play "A Change Is Gonna Come", written in 2006 by Vickie Evans, depicts domestic violence in the least expected place, from the pulpit of the church. Did you know that over 1500 Pastors leave the ministry a month due to burnout? What happens when a Pastor does not have a healthy outlet to relieve the pressures of ministry - he take it out on the one closest to him...his wife. Sponsor this powerful play at your next event, conference, or at your local theatre. Visit my website www.forgiven2.com for more information.
