God can not move in our lives without a repented heart.
We must repent from our sins in order to take a step to God.
Many of our imperfections only come out by fasting and prayer.
Repentance is important to keep our relationship close with God it keeps us in tune with his spirit, fasting is spending quality time with God and it helps to cleanse us and feed off of the holy spirit which brings joy to us and to God . So the verse in Joel 2: 12-13 Is just saying we must focus on him with all of our hearts mind body and weeping and mourning to show how we care about sharing our everything with God.He deserves all of us nothing less!
Amen sister, that is right. God deserves all of us, heart, mind, body and soul.
