The Character of God
If we adopt the character of God, it will entirely change the way we live. This adoption will start in the heart with a willingness and desire and then it flows or blooms on the outside.
Ephesians 4:22-24 says if we put off the former conversation, the old man which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts; be renewed in the spirit of our minds and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
How do we adopt God's character?
How does adopting this character draw us closer to God?
What would you say to a person who wants to know how to become more like Christ?

We adopt God's character by following his ways, having the fruits of the spirit which are humbleness, compassion,
love, and so on.
This draws us closer to God because we are connected to him in an intimate way when we follow these characters daily.
I would say to someone who wants to be like christ that they have to understand the holiness of God and follow those characters daily to be more in christ. -
