B-U will headline at the 2010 Rhythm of Gospel Awards

RALEIGH, NC: B-U, the high energy gospel rap/holy hip hop husband and wife duo from Raleigh, NC will be headliners for the National and Independent Gospel Music Association’s 2010 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, which will take place Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Canon Center in Memphis, TN. They will be featured along with other independent gospel artist from the NC area such as C.O.G., and Michael Boykin & the Mighty Voices.

B-U is also looking for bring back some special item(s) as their summer 2010 release project, Tell Me the Truth, has already receive recognition in the form of (3) Rhythm of Gospel Awards nominations in the categories: Holy Hip Hop Song of the Year (for Righteous Know Why), Holy Hip Hop Group of the Year and Rhythm of Gospel Video of the Year (for Come On).

They are no strangers to this event, in 2008 B-U received (2) Rhythm of Gospel Award nominations.

I'm glad that some one has made a group to represent a part of a generation that the church seems to forget.
