It is my pleasure to be a part of this group.

Jesus wants you blessed! Are you ready to get encouraged? Are you ready to move in abundance? Jesus is an abundant, more than enough, overflowing, life-giving, lavishing kind of a God! He wants to bless and lavish upon you. Jesus wants to release in your life abundance!

Pastor James.
Thnkas for your comments.
Yes we do need to train our Ministers. We also need to mentor those who are teachable.
I remember 30 yearsa go when my late husband and i were called to the Ministry. We were blessed to have had great mentors.

With all due respect, I would like to know what the plan for this group is going to be?

Our new Minsters/Preacher do need to know what they are getting into, and taught what is expected of them.

I wish I had a Pastor or someone to mentor me in the Ministry when I first started over 24 years a go.

Young Ministers need to know their duties and reponsibilities are, and to why they are getting into the Ministry.

Sad to say many get into the Ministry to get fame and honor. Some do for the money to get rich or so they do not have to go get a job to support themselves and a family. Some just like to be in charge or control of things, to be the boss, so they make the rules.

But their are a few that are out there for the right reason/s, they have been called of God to perform a service for the Kingdom of the Lord. These are willing to do whatever it akes to spread the Good News of the Salvation Message, the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, the Savior of the World, our Redeemer, The Son of the Living God and of His Love for ALL of us.

They need to be trained (and not necessarily in a Christian/Religous College/University/Seminary) to do the things that we as Ministers are called upon to do.

- How to Study the Word of God
- How to Teach the Word of God in Sunday School, Bible Study or Youth Meeting, and to be able to teach people of all ages (from the young to the old).
- How to do Home Vistiation of the sick and/or elderly.
- How to take care of the needs of those who are in need. (the sick/shut-in, the poor, those in prison/jail, the widows and orphans, people that was hurt in an accident, etc.).
- Hospital Visitations
- Door-to-door visitation to invite people (including the lost) out to Church.
- Good Stewardship of the thing that God has intrusted to him/her.
- The administering of the 3 Ordinances of God (Baptism, Marriage, Communion and Footwashing).
- How to conduct a Worship service.
- How to do Street Ministry.
- How to conduct a Home Church Service.

This is only a small list of thing that every new Minister needs to know and be taught.

I am a new Pastor, and I would like to know of to teach a new Minister these things when the Lord decides to call someone from our small congregation into the Ministry.
