Good Morning World! The human mind needs 3 things: 1. Goal, something to work toward, it is always working on two things, repairing the past or striving for the future. To be successful it needs, pictures of the goal and meditation on the goal (repetitively speaking goals to ourselves).

2. The human mind needs a hero. While we allow it to control us it is really a slave always looking for something to embrace. It is our responsibility to determine what we will allow it to serve. It is not programmed to serve God because has largely been influenced by pictures and meditations of its natural environment. Since it cannot "see" God it cannot make Him its hero therefore it will always rebel against God.

3. The human mind needs to be fed. It is constantly feeding on something, information that it needs to accomplish the goal and actions that it needs to serve the hero. If it is not continually fed new information it will replay the old, focus on the instructions from the last goal and serve the same hero. In order to truly change the goal and find a new hero it must be inundated "over-fed" with new information.

Against that natural truth, how can we expect that we can truly be a servant of God and His Kingdom by only occasionally feeding our mind information about Him? Do we really know Him? When we tell ourselves that "it doesn't take all of that" we are only falling prey to the slave who is not inclined nor capable of grasping what it is not used to seeing or hearing. We are being deceived by ourselves, by our own minds. Have a wonderful day!

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation. Jeremiah 9:20

Quote of the Day: The secret of living a life of excellence is merely a matter of thinking thoughts of excellence. Really, it's a matter of programming our minds with the kind of information that will set us free. Charles R. Swindoll
