In a day when Christian females (young and old) are embracing social norms that are ungodly, deadly, unwholesome and unladylike, we are at risk of losing a generation to chaotic principles and low standards. Daily we are bombarded by reality shows that depict 50 girls competing for one man, or 30 girls competing for one woman, half-naked video dancers, foul mouth comedians and entertainers highlighted as our role models. No wonder our females are having identity crisis like never before, pimping, piercing and tattooing their bodies faster than they’re learning Proverbs 31. Parents are confused. Many are completely absent, on drugs, or in jail, and some are trying to find their own way to positive change. Many were children when they had their children. And you know you can’t give a child what you don’t have. Thus, we have dysfunction and confusion traveling from one generation to the next! Bless the grandmothers who are trying their best to pick up the slack. My heart aches immensely.For this reason, God has impressed upon my heart to act urgently. I am teaming up with Pastors, First Ladies and leading women in our churches and communities around the city of Louisville to introduce a charming plan that will upgrade the lives of Christian girls and women. It is a Black History Month celebration workshop entitled, Kingdom Charm School. K.C.S. is not about outer pearls, pinned up curls or wearing gold rings. It is about developing timeless, powerful inner beauty that can propel us to heights we’ve only imagined. Let us recapture the essence of our ladyhood, discover our royal qualities as heirs of Christ and embrace our God-ness unapologetically
