SHALOM BLESSINGS!
THE LEARNING OF HEBREW AT ANY LEVEL WILL GREATLY ENRICH YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF BIBLICAL TRUTHS IN BOTH OLD & NEW TESTAMENT! ESPECIALLY FOR THE OLD TESTAMENT! WITHOUT IT YOU ARE ONLY RECEIVING THE ICING LEVEL OF THE WORD! A RESOUNDING YES YOU SHOULD SEEK TO LEARN SOME!
BLESSINGS,
APOSTLE DR. GARNETT
Shalom!

Definitely! Learning the language gives us power over the translations and opinions of translators. Let's face it, folks sometimes have alterior (i hope I spelled that right) motives. Since I have been digging into the language it has greatly increased my understanding of the Scriptures. And now they are finding out the much of New Covenant (Brit Chadashah) was originally written in Hebrew. Now we know that the Hebrew that we see around the 1st centruy was more of an Aramaic because a lot of the old (Paleo) Hebrew was lost as the scribes were sent into captivity, but much has been preserved through archiological findings recently. We use a great tool e-sword and it has a couple of great lexicons that help greatly. So I say yes, to Orignal and Renewed Covenant. Blessings!
