They that wait upon the Adonai shall renew their strength”Yesha'yahu (Isaiah ) 40:31

Oh man hit me self right on the head why not?? But really it is the hardest thing to do for most of us ... wait.. asked mom for a cookie ... wait... got to go to school catch a buis colsd weather ... wait... grow up go out to date ... wait .. seems we wait for a lot of things, and in todays world we want things and we want them now !

Noah waited 40 days in the ark ... then another 150 days to get off the tub... Moses waited 40 years in Midian, Israel 400 years to be delivered from Egypt, the “disciples” waited ( tarried) in the upper room, most of us if we hear the word wait we will get up and leave, waiting in line at the bank... waiting in line at our favorite McDonalds.. all that kosher food mmmmm (not) We are living in a world addicted to hurry hurry and no self help program . I once was with a person that stood in a line I think there was 4 people ahead of them ... do we wait?? No we jump in the car... drive 20 minutes get the order 20 minutes back .. but they didn't wait!!!!

Elohim continually reminds us that in quietness, and taking confidence in Him just waiting and trusting, we will find our true strength. Psalm 69:3 describes our impatience.. “I am weary with my crying, my throat is dry , my eyes fail while I wait for My YHWH”. Psalm 62:5 responds to that impatience ... “My soul be silent and wait for Elohim. For my expectation is from Him.”
