The Light Of His Glory

By the Light of His Glory
I see the Way
His grace and love everlasting
Shall always be my stay

Though troubles surround me
He is always there
My Comforter, Rock of Ages
He answers every prayer

Should my steps falter
And when my tears flow
His loving arms reach out
How He loves me so

Were I the only one
In this world to love
Jesus would have come
From His Father's House above

For those who know Him not
I tell them of His grace
Resting in His tender care
I pray they'll seek His face

He Did It for You

All things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ
Jesus my Lord.
Philippians 3:8 (NCV)

Want to know the coolest thing about Christ’s coming?

Not that the One who hung the galaxies gave it up to hang doorjambs to the
displeasure of a cranky client who wanted everything yesterday but couldn’t
pay for anything until tomorrow.

Not that he refused to defend himself when blamed for every sin of every
loose woman and sailor since Adam….

Not even that after three days in a dark hole he stepped into the Easter
sunrise with a smile and a swagger and a question for lowly Lucifer—“Is that
your best punch?”

That was cool, incredibly cool.

But want to know the coolest thing about the One who gave up the crown of
heaven for a crown of thorns? He did it for you. Just for you.

Shattered Hearts

Lord, our hearts are heavy
And our tears flow free
The lost of so many lives
Saddened are we
This thing that happened, how can it be
When ones of evil, can decide what life will be
These images of horror, will be buried in our minds
Crying out in mixed emotions, anguish in our eyes
The shadows of darkness, cries of pain
Hands clutched so tightly, as one watched in dismay
My God, what is happening, as panic set it
People running for their lives
Helping each other, praying to survive
As walls shattered, flames of fire
Burst of glowing cinders, lifting high into the skies
Bellowing smoke, swollen and gray
Piles of rubble, dirty and grave
Sounds of terror, among the ruins
My God, My God, was echoed thru out
Today Lord, many lives have changed
Our loved ones are missing, we are so afraid
Some of our loved ones, we will not see
they have gone to Heaven, to be with thee
Please Lord, give us your strength
The power of your undying love
Help us to rebuild and recover, from the evil of darkness
I pray to thee...My Lord above.

Equipped for the Fight -- Part I
Bishop Keith Butler
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalms 91:15 (KJV)
Did you know that there are times that you must stay in the fight? The word "deliver" in Psalm 91:15 means to equip for the fight. God will equip you for the battle. There are situations in your life in which He is simply not going to move you anywhere; He is not going to lift you up and carry you off anywhere; but He is going to give you the equipment to slug it out right where you are and win. That is why you must get before God to find out how He wants to deliver you in a particular situation. His will is to deliver you. You just need to ascertain from the Spirit how God wants to do it.
Many times we get tired of the people we work with, or tired of the job, or tired of the house we live in. Then we make decisions based on what we feel we should do. It very well may be that God wants you to stand right where you are. He wants to equip you to slug it out and win right there. But He will not leave you to do it alone.
He said clearly that He would be with you in trouble. God will be there with supernatural anointing: the anointing that removes whatever is a burden to you, and destroys whatever is a yoke to you. With that you have the ability to stay there and slug it out until the devil high tails it and runs.
A good example of this kind of deliverance is found in Deuteronomy 28. It says your enemies will come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. Picture it. If your enemies are coming against you, and then fleeing in seven different directions, what are you doing? You are standing ? not running ? but standing. You're not being removed. You are standing. You are so equipped because you have a covenant with God, and you whipped that situation so bad in the Holy Ghost that the enemy is going in every direction trying to get away from you. That is why you need to find out if this is the time to stay and fight. It is not an anti-Christian act to stay and fight. It depends on what the Lord said to do.
So, find out in your prayer time before God what His direction is for you whenever you face a difficult situation. You can be confident in God that when He says to stay, that means He will equip you with all you need to win the battle. In God, you are the triumphant church. That means that you win every time.

Daily Walk

If I knew that I'd fail, at the end of my life,
And Heaven would not be my beautiful prize ~
I'd still work for Jesus and love Him, today,
And thank Him for guiding this far down the way.
As the tree falleth, it lies evermore;
Problems gigantic appear at my door!
Heartache and worry plague me at times.
I'm fighting daily. I'm on the front lines!
I call to remembrance His words, ever-true,
"Be of good courage. I'll never leave you!
When you are weak, My strength is perfected!
Hold on, my child. You'll not be neglected!"
One day at a time, one step (only one)
Will be enough. For I follow God's Son!
One little light, if I hold it up high,
Will shut out the darkness. Just watch it fly!
So, I hold on today and tomorrow, again.
I'll pick up my cross. Yes I will follow Him!
His heart full of mercy, compassion His way;
I'll not fail Jesus if I follow today!

Who Shall Separate Us?
Who shall separate us from Christ, whom we so love?
It is He who lived and died and arose to His Father, above.
It is He who makes intercession for us, as He loves us so much.
Who can be against us, if He is with us, with His love touch?
We Know for those who love God, all things work together
For His purpose, now, on this old earth and in Heaven, forever.
Lord, let Thy Spirit make infirmities for our hearts each day,
When we are crushed inside and know not how to Pray.
With groanings that cannot be uttered, as we sit and weep,
Lighten our hearts, Oh Father, e'er and e'er our souls to keep.
In all things, let us be more than conquerors, through Jesus above,
And for Thy sake, let us be killed all the day long for His love.
For I am persuaded that neither life, nor death, nor Angels, or power,
Nor principalities, or things present can keep us from the Tower
That He went to build two thousand years ago and to come again,
To receive us unto Himself that, with His love, we shall have gain.
Neither height nor depth, nor any creature will be able to separate us
From the abiding love, that we, as Christians have in our Lord Jesus.
For He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Blessings and peace He brings
To fill our souls with His glory, to make our hearts to ever sing.

Peace, Be Still
Today's Scripture
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!”
And the wind ceased and there was a great calm”
(Mark 4:39 NKJ).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
What do you do when the storms of life seem to be raging against you? One
time Jesus was with His disciples in a boat out on the water when they
encountered a great storm. The disciples were very afraid, but Jesus on the
other hand, was fast asleep. When the disciples woke Him up to see if He
could help them, Jesus got up and simply spoke to the storm, “Peace! Be
still.” And the seas were calm again.

When difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of
worry or fear. Just as Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm, you have power
in your words, too. As a believer, the Bible tells us that the same Spirit
that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. That means God’s
miracle-working power is on the inside of you. He’s given you His authority
to declare peace over your home, over your mind, and over your family.
Remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Greater One lives
on the inside of you, and He’ll empower you to live in victory in every area
of your life!

A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and for
giving me Your authority here on the earth. Today I declare peace over every
area of my life and thank You for working things out for my good.
In Jesus’ Name.
Amen

I am the vine;
you are the branches.
If a Man remains in me and I in him;
he will bear much fruit.
Apart from me you can do nothing.

Your are You-Nique

Each of us is an original.
Galatians 5:26 (MSG)

God made you you-nique.

Secular thinking, as a whole, doesn’t buy this. Secular society sees no
author behind the book, no architect behind the house, no purpose behind or
beyond life. It simply says, “You can be anything you want to be.”

Be a butcher if you want to, a sales rep if you like. Be an ambassador if
you really care. You can be anything you want to be. But can you? If God
didn’t pack within you the meat sense of a butcher, the people skills of a
salesperson, or the world vision of an ambassador, can you be one? An
unhappy, dissatisfied one perhaps. But a fulfilled one? No. Can an acorn
become a rose, a whale fly like a bird, or lead become gold? Absolutely not
You cannot be anything you want to be. But you can be everything God
wants you to be.
