You are so true.I know some horror stories from the wounded who wanted help from the church and none was forthcoming.. Why is this happening?

The church has fallen away from its first love as it is written it would do. The scripture says many will depart from the faith. It did not say depart from the church but from the Faith. And this is happening everywhere. The tragedies that are happening every where and will increase now are happening because the church has become a harlot. Where was the church when we could no longer pray in school. How could an atheist name Madlyn O' Hare go before congress to remove pray and the church did not show up with all the power it clams to have. Yes the god of Baal Prosperity and recognition has taken us away from Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. The church has based the Kingdom on All of these things instead of seek ye first the Kingdom of God. In the Hebrew thought Kingdom of God and His righteousness refers to seeking the Character of God. Another scriptures says In all thy ways (thoughts and actions) acknowledge Him. Acknowledge means in the Hebraic thought to act on His Knowledge. So because we seek the wrong things first when a brother or sister needs help or restoration they get things like I am busy. I missed your call because they have caller ID. They sit back and watch the devil destroy folks and then like Job friends say you must have done something wrong. Well if they did do something wrong lead them into repentance and restoration. So God is now angry with the Church because selfishness is ruling in the church. Jesus is standing at the door of His own church knocking in the book of Revelation saying "If any man shall hear my voice and open up I will come in and sup with Him".

I strongly pray and hope that the answers or responses to this question are really taken to heart.

I don't believe that The Church has gotten away from its' primary purpose, I believe, the delivery and transfer of that purpose have been the problem.

The one who now carries the baton has the responsiblilty to pass that baton securely and successfully into the hearts and minds of all those who have an ear to hear.

We must deliver a clear understanding of what that purpose is. Then support and equip those to whom we have delivered the message to.

Teaching them to trust in the Lord and all His Might; not man. Trust that God is still in charge and allow The Lord Jesus to move in the lives of men and women by admonishing them to study the Word of God for themselves.

Making ouselves and our staff ready and available to listen/answer/contend/debate as a show of our trust in the Lord and ability to rightly divide the word of truth.

I am sure people would like to see how much you love first but they are also interested in how much you know, both mentally and intimately about what it is we preach and teach.

The purpose is clear our objective is sure and our end is glorious.

Today the church is failing it's mark, today we have ostracise a large proportion of the population our men have been disconnected from God, our Children have no knowledge or respect for the church, sinners appear to be growing at an alarming rate compare to the intake of saints. We are failing to retain saints the backsliding rate appears to be ever increasing. The church have no authority or influence in the governing body of the land, or in schools neither in the communities. We have fallen too far behind where we should be, we need the Apostles the Prophets the Evangelist the Missionaries to be active in the communities and the nation they need to be visible on the battlefield, lives are being lost while they are sitting comfortable in buildings. The call to leadership has become too comfortable it was never meant to be that is why we are losing the battle and missing the mark. Leaders in the churches must be prepared to suffer just as Jesus suffered in order to dispel the mistrust and get people back in the churches otherwise we will continue to miss the mark. There is too many empty churches all over the places where are the people who use to fill them. There is far too many people who only see the inside of a church just at weddings, Christenings and funerals. We need people to remember the Lord at other times.

This is a truth, also the church is trying to do purpose! While still hanging out in Babylon! We say we are separated yet we watch the same movies(like Tyler Perry's stuff) and we laugh. We buy the christians music which are advertising their body parts(like , well I want mention their names(but women who wear extra tight jeans etc. The world has gotten in the bed with Jezebel, and now we are bearing baal's children. I pray that we wouldnot just hold on to religous mantras and began to hold on to the horns of the altar again!

Praise God! I am really enjoying these comments I was saved as a young girl, backslid, and came back to the Lord.My mantra is give me that "Old time religion,it's good enough for me" It seems that everything is just okay God loves us all, God is merciful so just hang in there. This is true, however no one is expected to stand fore "holiness" I want the good ole days back. What I really want is toa live for God and be backed up by the church.

You know Sister Janice Jesus said to his Apostles when he commission them that men will hate them that means people were not necessary going to like the message but they were not to fear men because they cannot hurt their soul but rather they were to but up with the suffering as their way of part taking in Christ suffering but the leaders of today seem more interesting in making friends with everyone instead of deliver the message. In the old days there was ignorance due to lack of education but at least they preach hell and hell fire. Today the leaders have no excuse because they are more learned in the word they know what the outcome will be for all those without Christ yet they are prepare to stay nice and comfortable while the world around them is falling apart.

They seem to have forgotten the call to leadership come with great rewards but even greater punishment if they fail to carry out that to which they were call. Its no point us members say but I am okay because I am not a leader, everyone of us has a responsibility to keep the body of Christ intact but the leaders responsibility is greatest.

I go to work and see Christians at work pretending they are not Christian because the work places don’t like it. Yet they put up with the talk of football and swearing from sinners. I shout even the louder about my God while others trying to tell me to be quiet otherwise I might get discipline. I say to them the discipline I get from work is nothing compare to the discipline I will get from my God if I am ashamed to proclaim him and if I am sacked my God is my provider so He will provide, further more I let them know if they succeed in sacking me it's because my God have decided my purpose here is completed and He has another assignment for me.

In my work place and remember I am in a Christian country they use to provide a prayer room for the worshipers of heathen gods while we Christians sit down licking our hands.

Sister I can glad to say we Christians now have a prayer room at lunch time on a Monday for half an hour where we can praise the Lord that is a start because that that time our mind, soul and body it at one with the Holy Spirit.

So we as god 'people have been given the power to move mountains but we choose to sit back meekly doing nothing

All of us need to make a stand because we are all the Church one body not just the preachers but every member can do the bit. We need to ask ourselves how many people did you and I witness to on a daily basis, how many people have we invited to church each week. How many sick or troubled people did we pray for last week?

You see if the church is not meeting its mark, it means we are not making our mark because we are the church.

You see sister if you want to live for god, you have to play your part too we all have to.
