Prayers For President Obama

Father, thank You for my country, the United States of America, the only country in the world founded upon religious freedom and Your Word. Thank You for our founding fathers, Lord, who looked to You for guidance to develop the kind of government that would be pleasing to You. We need Your wisdom to safeguard our freedom. May the light of Your word run swiftly throughout our country, and Your love burn brightly in our land. Father, You called and equipped President Obama to oversee the Country. He has a destiny to fulfill, given to him by You. You have called upon him for such a time as this. He has been called to fulfill the Presidentual Position. I have faith in You and donot question Your decision. Place Your Spirit upon him and anoint him to make good decisions. Give him wisdom and words of knowledge. Father I declare with my mouth, “The battle is the Lord’s”. I pray this prayer In Jesus Name. Amen.

My sister this is excellent, and I praise the Lord you are being obedient to the word 1 Tim:2:1-5. What if Obama did'nt win. Would you still pray? I was bless to be placed where my Pastor is an excellent bible teacher and prayer warrior. He teaches us to pray first what the Father wants, we pray for the President and those in authority regardless of their color. Not saying you have not been doing this, but far to many of us are beginning to pray for the President because he is black. When we should have been praying anyway because Father wants this. I have heard a lot of criticism of our present President and how the state of our country was caused by him, this has come from Christians. This should not be, our posture is to pray and not to condemn what we are praying for or who we are praying for. The word also mentions prayer for the lost, saints, Isreal, etc., we pray for this regardless of how it looks,how they look or makes us feel. There is really no black church or white church, only the body of Christ.
