Question: Is He Talking To You
I am so taken aback at the lifestyle of many Christian men and women today; at their level of obedience, and reverence unto God. We say we love God, but our actions tell a completely different story. I can’t fathom what’s so hard for the people of God to understand. Jesus Christ left us with a simple outline on living a saved, sanctified, and holy life, so why are so many of us going against what the bible has instructed us to do. Instructions so simple even a fool not error.
The word Christian gets so little respect today because according to society everyone is a “Christian” from the rapper to the porn star, they all thank their Lord & Savior for receiving their awards.
So to make this person, I’m directing this at those that profess to know the Lord Jesus Christ personally, those that say they have a relationship with God; those that say they are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. “Is He’s Talking To You?”
If we wonder why our prayers are not being answered, it is because of the sin in our lives. Now don’t misunderstand me, because there are times when we fall short, we even error, but to outright live in a sin angers, and displeases God. I’m talking about Saints.
We are on our way to a Sodom and Gomorrah situation, we allow any and everything to go on in our churches and in our homes, we don’t stand for anything thereby we settle for whatever. 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14 reads: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their WICKED ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. God called his people wicked.
This was written to the children of God, those that are called by His name. In 7 chapter of Mark, Jesus called the Pharisees and the scribes hypocrites, because they worship Him with the lips but their hearts were far from Him. They confessed Him, but they didn’t know Him. That is exactly what many Christians are doing today giving lip service.
I don’t know where or when we lost our fear of God; I don’t know what makes us think we can do everything that we did in the world and still go to Heaven. It astonishes me to see that many of God’s people have no control over their selfish desires, and lust. 1 Corinthians chapter 6:9 reads: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Then it goes on to say: Be not deceived: neither will fornicators, nor idolaters, no adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
I sometimes wonder have they even read this scripture because if so I can’t tell. Our churches are filled with adulterers, fornicators, homosexuals only to name a few. This is not a rebuke of pastors, or the unsaved but to those that sit in the church, Sunday after Sunday, holding the title of Pastor, Evangelist, Minster, Deacon, Elder, Prophet/Prophetess, and living a lie, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. They can’t pray a headache off of a ant, and while pretending and thinking they are fooling somebody, they are on their way to hell.
It is time that we get a made up mind. The bible tells us to choose this day. Tomorrow is not promised to you while you are playing Russian roulette with your soul. No time to straddle the fence. Jesus tells us to be “hot” or “cold” because if we are “lukewarm” well you know.
Many of us will stand before the Lord on judgment day and cry tears of sweat “Oh Lord didn’t I prophesy in your name, didn’t I cast our devil in your name, and He will say those dreaded words “Depart from me ye worker of iniquity I know you not.”
It is almost apparent that living a life of holiness is no longer the primary focus for many Christians, and this only assures me that we are indeed living in the last days where many shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing and lustful spirits of the flesh instead of seeking God for true deliverance.
Because we refuse to fast that yokes may be destroyed, that we may be loosed from the bands of wickedness. Despite God’s attempt at a relationship with us we find every little excuse not to pray, not to fast, not to study His word, but we say we love God.
Satan has truly deceived many of God’s people into believing they are saved. That they can have their adulterous affairs, live together without marriage, stay in a homosexual lifestyle, lie, steal, cheat, and in the end God will somehow look over all that mess, and filth and allow them into His holy Kingdom. Won’t they be surprised?
The Lord said it is time out for faking, and deceiving one another, and time to get on your knees and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins (for real) if you don’t have plans of letting that thing go then don’t even waste His time or yours. It time to let true deliverance take place in your life. Pray until you receive the Holy Ghost, then God can finish the work in you.
In Romans chapter 10 Paul writes: My heart’s desire and prayer to God for the people to be saved. For they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Now is the time to submit to the righteousness of God. Today is that day. When you shall hear my voice harden not your heart, but humble yourself unto true repentance. Somewhere brothers and sister got side tracked, and the devil continues to deceive with the time factor. We think we got time to get it right or play with fire because for decades it has been said that we are living in the last days, and we are still saying it. There is no time, there is only prophecy being fulfilled.
The Lord is saying don’t give heed to fables, teachings that sound good the ears, and feed the flesh. Yes we all want riches, and success, but let’s first work on righteousness, holiness, love, obedience, patience, forgiveness and allow the material things to take the back burner.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; Call on Him while He is near. REPENT again, and don’t dare go back into whatever God has delivered you from. Bring your flesh under subjection through fasting and prayer, and watch God do great and exciting things in your life. You will be amazed at what you are capable of doing or doing without in the Lord.
I pray the Lord’s grace and mercy upon your life, as we run on together to see what the end’s gone be.
