What does it truly mean to be apostolic?

Alot of people have a misunderstanding when it comes to the apostolic ministry. Some people think apostolic is a denomination so therefore they are turned away by it. Being apostolic pretains to the ministry of the apostle. If you are Holy Ghost filled then you have to some degree an apostolic anointing that you need to tap into. I would love to hear some of your views on this subject, I feel is rarely discussed within the body.
