When Jesus said all power is given unto me in heaven and earth this was referring to the power Adam sold to Satan,Jesus already had all power,when jesus defeated Satan at the cross,he took back, that which was given away by Adam concerning man..

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

This is surely so, for he is prince of the world, but not absolutely, and is the sovereign of it only by permission

Jesus took even that back..thus ALL original power was given back,or better,taken back..

I hear church folk say God is waiting on you,or God is waiting for you to do this or that..PLEASE show me anywhere In scripture where God waited on man?

God tells us to wait on him..most times what we ask for we don't get simply because its not Gods intention to give it...

Paul prayed 3 times take this thorn away,God replied my grace is sufficient,most times this is what God is saying to us..

There are pastors that can't explain why God didn't do this or that, so in order to make themselves look holy, they make up excuses for God, God is waiting for you to do this or that, you have to give more, pray more,fast more,stop this or stop that.. the simple fact is God says his grace is sufficient..

God never said he would give us whatever we ask for,God says he will give us the desires of our hearts..well when we study scripture closely,that means he will give us the right desires according to his will,not ours..

The Power of Jesus:

Without a doubt one of the most meaningful statements made by the Son of God concerns the authority and power he received after his resurrection. He said this:

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Over All Heavenly and Earthly Powers:

Luke 4:36, And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
Ephesians 1:20, Which he (God) wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Over the Natural Elements:

Christ performed these amazing miracles by the power of the LORD God; power which is available to believers even today.

Power to Confer Authority upon others:

Before his resurrection - healing power
Luke 9:1, He called the 12 together and gave them power and authority to overcome all the devils and to cure diseases.
After his resurrection - witnessing power
Acts 1:8, But you will receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and you will bear witness of me to all the earth.
In the millennial age - ruling power
Revelation 2:26, And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.
27: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Revelation 3:21, To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
