I want feedback on this one y'all!!!

People come to church for comfort and answers!! We know Jesus is the answer to all issues, weights...But what about the ministers of God that look for someone to be confidential with concerning struggles or issues they are dealing with themselves??? More times than often, Men and Women of the faith don't feel comfortable enough to share personal issues for the mere fact of feeling like they are protecting themselves from secret scourage and the repeating of that issue to anyone else other than the one who proposed the issue initially...

So, my question is..Do you as an Apostle, Prophet, Prophetess, Minister of Music, Teacher, Preacher...consider yourself confidential when it comes to the issues brought to you as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Would you look at a Man or Woman of God, who is anointed and appointed, chosen, to do God's work, look at them in another light? Would the thoughts cross your mind that "This person isn't who they say they are", "They don't have no power if they struggling with that", "They operating under a heavy mantle and keep fallin like that?? They ain't got no real power"....would this be you?

Funny you bring this topic up... We all are human and have issues one person is no better than the other; that is why we pray one for another. We all need someone to talk to...someone to be open with...someone who will tell us the truth...if not, we become fake. When people hold things in and their outer appearance seem well put together, yet they are struggling with something on the inside yes, one may look at them and think they are not who they say they are.It may not be wise to be open with everyone, but it is good to be open and real with one person who you know will take all things to prayer with you. Some people may feel that they are too high and mighty for that then, God bless them…there are others who are open to the facts…We need one another to be effective in the kingdom of God the right way…God’s way. We have to be true to ourselves in order to be real with other's... -Olivia
Amen to that sis...the word of God declares that we are born for our brother's adversity..Which means that we are not here for ourselves...we are here to one another..To cover one another in prayer and comfort...to protect one another in the love of God from the snares and tactics of Satan...It is our duty to keep our discernment clear and with clarity to know how to effectively minister to each others needs to edify the body of Christ. We are to love one another as ourselves and yes be real with people, ourselves, and God...God bless you sis
Realness and transparency...two most important characteristic traits a leader in the Kingdom of God must bear in order to be effective! I agree with you most definitely...
Amen @Doretta and Angeline! I don't just co-sign but know everything said to be truth...experiences are our best teachers and the word declares we OVERCAME by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony...So yes to truly be effective in ministering to the needs of the body we have to have been thru it to touch the heart of that individual. And sometimes you might not have went through it, but if the anointing or mantle you are carrying is heavy enough, the Holy Ghost will minister to that need as He pleases! I love you all in Jesus name!

Brethren, If any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual (who are responsive to and controlled by the spirit) should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also. Gal 6:1 and confession is good for the soul.

The answer is that just as there is a measure of faith that we each have, God provides us also with mercy and grace. Many times we forget as people in leadership we are also human. The bible lets us to know that we should judge not lest we be judge, and the same way we do that with others we may very well be judged the same way. In knowing that I try to remember that the tables could very well be turned around and I may be dealing or overcome in a fault and I want understanding and prayers given to me on my behalf. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" It is not that we do not acknowledge the act itself of struggles and stronghold where deliverance is needed, but we look beyond their faults and see their needs, just as God did in sacrificing his son Jesus Christ for us!
Ephesians6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

We should also not seek to discredit their ministry because if God can use an ass, or even Paul who was indeed one of the chief persecutors of the church, and use him for kingdom work who are we to say different. We are who God says we are! Isn't it great that God can see the best of us even when other can't. I am so glad God is not like man. Who wouldn't serve a God like that!
Amen! Amen! Amen!
Amen!!!!
