Christ The Head of The Church

Colossians 1:18-20

18. And he is the head
of the body, the church
he is the beginning and the
first born from among the
dead, so that in everything he
might have the supremacy

19. For God was pleased to have
all fullness dwell in him

20. And through him to reconcile
to himself all things, whether
things on earth or things
in heaven by making peace
through his blood shed
on the cross

Talking Points

1 Christ is the head of the body which is the Church.
2. The church is the body of Christ.
3. Christ is over all.
4. We were died in our sins.
5. Salvation was complete in Christ.
6. Christ reconciled the world by his shed blood

Let Us Pray.

O Lord I thank you that you have made me
a part of the body of Christ which is the Church.
You have cleanse me from sin by the shed blood
of Christ Jesus.
I thank God that my salvation is complete.
And because of Christ Jesus there is peace between
me and God.
The work of Christ has made the believer
in Christ part of the family of God
And he has gave me life when I was died
in sin.
For this and so much more I praise your name
and you have the glory and all honor now and for
evermore.
