"Minister Alisha M. Simmons, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was born to Nathaniel C. Armstrong, Jr. and Valerie C. Simmons, in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1980. Minister Simmons was raised in a Christ-centered family where the Word of God was proclaimed throughout her childhood. In 1998, Minister Simmons graduated from Germantown-Lankenau Motivation High School with academic honors. In July of 1998, Minister Simmons attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Technology Support and Training. In June of 2002, at the age of 22, Minister Simmons accepted her call into ministry and entered the gospel ministry, serving as an associate minister at the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, and also serving as a Pastoral Intern at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Alyn E. Waller & Pastor Albert F. Campbell Sr. In May of 2007, Minister Simmons received her Master of Divinity degree from the Palmer Theological Seminary, formerly known as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, with hopes of furthering her education. In April 2007, in pursuit of her educational endeavors, Minister Simmons was led to Baltimore, Maryland to pursue her Master/PhD degrees in Pastoral Counseling at the Loyola College in Maryland. In January of 2008, Minister Simmons completed her first book entitled, “And It Came To Pass”, which is due to be released in the Spring of 2008. In her book, Minister Simmons captures the essence of what one undergoes when “spiritual storms” arise and the process one must endure in order to find victory as a result of enduring the process. Minister Simmons highlights the implication that storms are present in our lives as believers, not necessarily to destroy us or consume us, but storms come to make us stronger, moving us to totally depend on God. Minister Simmons acknowledges that storms are only temporary and they simply come to pass. Upon God’s release and direction, Minister Simmons was licensed and ordained on March 17, 2008, currently serving as the Youth and Young Adult Director for Called 2 Conquer Ministries, in Baltimore, Maryland & the Youth President of the Maryland State Jurisdiction of the Unity & Faith Full Gospel Association, under the leadership of Bishop Matthew E. Bradby, II, who is the presiding prelate of the Maryland Jurisdiction of the Unity & Faith Full Gospel Association. Minister Alisha M. Simmons… is truly an anointed preacher, teacher, and author, who is highly focused and sincere about seeing that souls are saved, minds are transformed, and hearts of people are healed. Minister Simmons has an authentic message for the world to hear and continues to lead her life by example, being mindful that this journey is not about self, but about seeing that others come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Minister Simmons is strongly rooted in the Word of God and has a sincere desire to uplift and encourage the people of God. Minister Simmons is passionate about the Lord and pursues her call with consistent fervor, while at the same time impacting the lives of all she encounters. .

Praise the Lord Mighty Woman of God! Happy New Year to you all!
I am grateful that the Lord allowed us all to enter in 2010!
2009 wasn’t the easiest of years, but through the eyes of faith, I see great things awaiting all of us in 2010. The reason I’m sending this email... the Lord blessed my publishing ministry with an awesome door of opportunity and we are looking to do even greater works on this year!
Years ago, I wrote a book titled I Will Do A New Thing In You. A local ministry asked if I would allow them to include the book as a gift to women incarcerated. We want to do the same next year.
Write The Vision Publications www.writethevisionpublications.com, is looking to publish a book titled: Women Of Great Faith. I need your group’s participation. The book will be comprised of messages by women of great faith.
The process is simple. With your permission, we would publish a message of your choosing. All you would need to do is submit your message (500 words or more) along with your contact information, in word format to info@writethevisionpublications.com. We anticipate having the project completed by the end of February 2010.
Although we are not in position to offer monetarily compensation, once the project is complete, we will send you a complementary copy of the book. The ownership of your message will remain your property.
We are sure the Lord will richly bless you as together we bless His people. One thing I can promise you for sure…books have a way of going places many of us may never get to go.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 336-997-2359. God bless you and thank you in advance.
