- Apostle Dornett Abdullah A Woman After God's own Heart
Apostle Dornett Abdullah is the founder of Daughters of Destiny, she was born April 17, 1974, in Hamilton, Bermuda, to Pastor Merline Cato and Tatem Willis. She has one sister, Bevon Willis and one brother, Lennon Willis. She is married to Pastor Hasan Abdullah; He is the love of her life and she has one son, Jonathan Cunningham, her gift from God.
At an early age the family moved to Jamaica, where Apostle Dornett lived for 10 years. The experience in Jamaica was great. She adapted to the culture of the people. As a young girl, she learned to climb different fruit trees, such as mango, banana and orange. Looking back, Apostle Dornett really didn't appreciate Jamaica as she should have: the fresh air, all the natural resources, fresh spring water, the sunshine, beach and the warmth all year round. Life was different, but extremely great.
Apostle Dornett was part of Angels on Assignment Christian Center, for 15 years under the leadership of Bishop Delores Black, where she learned the bible and how to operate in ministry effectively. She is forever grateful for the love, care and support she received from the Angels on Assignment family over the years.
In September 2005 at the age of 31, Apostle Dornett answered the call to full time ministry, and was ordained by Arch Bishop Tate. Within that same year, she founded the Heart of God Healing Center that is located at 110 Walnut Street Hartford CT 06120. Currently, the ministry is under the covering of Apostle Bishop Felton Best. Apostle Dornett has six ministries under her covering. Our mission is to reach the lost at all cost.
Apostle Dornett Abdullah is known as a dynamic preacher / teacher of the Word of God. Her extensive study of the scriptures enables her to communicate the word of God effectively. She is available for speaking engagement, God has called her in this season to be a restorer, she has a word that will bring change into your ministry, because she has serve as a pastor for eight years she knows the pain that pastors go through first hand and is willing to give an helping hand to move members from Sunday goers to full time laborers in the kingdom of God.
