- Born in Angelina County in the year 1979, at age five he was moved to Beaumont TX. Called into the gospel ministry at age nine, by age fifteen he was ordained an inter-national evangelist. When he made twenty years of age Prophet Horton was traveling the globe far and near preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not interested in the methodology of denomination and religious philosophy toward the gospel. Pastor Horton wants to see souls saved and lives changed. He believes that true preaching transcends doctrinal barriers and salvation has no prejudice toward denomination. Having a very powerful and mysterious ministry he was given the name "Mystery" in the year of 1990. Defined as a “preacher among scribes, he who carries the oracles of God.” It was in the year of 1998 that he founded an array of extraordinary preachers it was called the horseman. Receiving several license into various offices of ministry he was licensed at Lamar University C.O.P Lamar’s great orator. His ministry has now been sent to the nations and very soon to the world. In the year of our lord 2008 on the (13th) thirteenth day of July just (3) three days before his birthday Amos Horton was consecrated into the office of Bishop, licensed and ordained. It was a time span of about (7) seven years that he refused this office wanting to make sure that it was Gods time before moving into this position. God has blessed him with a powerful team of bishops who sit on his board embracing the liberty that flows in his vision. Growing up with strict philosophical doctrines and religiosities that held men captive within an organization. He has been freed into true religious conviction that opens a door of escape from sin for all persons that will walk through this door. He believes that Jesus Christ is the only way into eternal life and does not deviate from the principals of the scriptures. Bishop did not sign up to be popular but he will bring revival in any service. He is the founder of C.O.R.E Ministries. (Cathedral of Restoration and Evangelism) Bishop feels that his assignment on earth is to restore and liberate the body back to God. He has a true compassion for God’s People and wants them to know that all can be restored. Following in the footsteps of his father Pastor Amos L Horton Sr. he’s adapted a philosophical, theological and analytical approach to ministry that has captured the attention of people throughout the United States. Prophet Horton's first book was released in the year 2008. To all of those that know Prophet he stayed with the faith. Embracing the freedom that only comes through Jesus Christ has separated his ministry from so many others. There were a lot of complication throughout this walk but all things worked for the good. Prophet say's "To my Conrad’s in the gospel; young men and ladies who have not compromised, we haven’t won every battle but we have ultimately won the war. My life has been filled with so many joys, yet accompanied by so many sorrows. I was in the city of Little Rock (Arkansas) and I was asked this question, “if you could changed any thing in your life what would it be?” I thought about the good, the bad, the victories and the defeats, my strengths and my weaknesses, then I answered; I would change nothing. It was the combination of every thing intermingling together that made me who I am. Who am I, Gods man? My vision is to take the gospel of Christ to the world. I pray that the sick be healed, the blind receive sight, those bound be delivered, and that souls would continue to be saved. I long to feed the hungry, and supply housing for the homeless. It is my vision to impact the nation through Christ bringing improvement to individual communities seeing the lives of young people change for the better. There will be a day when the world will be taken for Christ and the kingdom advanced. I want to play my role in doing so." May the blessing of the lord that make rich and add no sorrow descend upon you in this day of consecration. May he overwhelm you with the holiness that is required to walk in this office? May you be confident and courageous not handling the word of God deceitfully? Be prepared in preaching and demonstration of the gospel to prove and defend your office. Defend the church, and the people of the church. Feed the hungry and help the widows and orphans. May this be a new day for you when what was matters no more and the grace of God assigned to you defends your integrity, for you are Gods chosen the bishop elect; Amos L. Horton Jr. Bishop Amos Lee Horton Jr. is the Founder Of Cathedral of Restoration/Evangelism C.OR.E Ministries. He serves in the United Fellowship Outreach (UFO Bishop McKinley August Jr. founder) as the 3rd Presiding Bishop covering many churches within this organization. He’s connected to a league of bishops throughout the United States and his ministry has now begin to impact the nation on a new dimension. Averaging about three (5) services per week on a local level, he leaves the state about 9 times a year. Dear Preachers and Those in Ministry:
I need some bold preachers to go with me into the lion’s den!
I am a veteran African American Republican who in 1979, God sent into the Republican Party to bring about change and to bring down the walls of prejudice and call the party back to the place of its original birth as the Party of Lincoln.
This has not been an easy battle. I have shared those experiences in the book I wrote, Black Eyes Shut – White Lips Sealed (victorysongcollectionspublications.com). Yet I have stood against all odds, and now it is time to take it to the next level.
What I have seen is that the racism, mean spiritedness and the foolishness that is within the Republican Party is mostly at the top. Those who rise to the top, in most cases are the perpetrators. But when you go to the grass roots level, this almost is not there or it is in lesser degrees. Many at the grass roots level are those who believe what we believe, work with us and even share sweet fellowship. However, when you begin to get involved at the party level, this is where the demons of racism rear their heads and stand as gatekeepers.
Having taught American Government, State and Local Government and International Politics and Culture of Non-Western Countries as a political science professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, I understand government at all levels – even globally. I know what it will take to break the hold and to get pass the political gatekeepers. Sit-in and protests will do absolutely nothing! Even prayer alone will not suffice. But with the power of prayer, as well as the wisdom of God, we have to move into both parties and carve out a place for ourselves as Americans, if we want to share in America’s political power base. Yes, this means moving even into the Republican Party.
As the national chair for the Black Republican Women Organization, I began back in 1987 recruiting African American women into the GOP, who were not willing to be tokens, but who could retain their blackness.
Presently, I head the National Republican African American Caucus. It is a unique republican organization because it allows African Americans to be a part of a collective body that can and will bring about change. Our goal is 1.5 million by 2012, and 500,000 in 2010. You may ask why so many? It is because political strength is in numbers! In politics, believe it or not, it has very little to do with color. It has to do with numbers and the ability to write the check. If you can show you have a substantial number of people who can stand as a voting block, and have the ability to finance your own cause, then you become a significant player within the political landscape. This is the ONLY way that we gain and retain political power. This is how we as African Americans get to the table, have a voice and place ourselves in appointed and elected positions. This is how we stop some of the foolishness that is going on in politics.
As an African American Republican, I proudly voted for President Obama in the general election. But his ability to win was because he was able to get beyond the gatekeepers and become a political player within the Democratic Party. Now we have to do the same thing within the Republican Party!
Having said all of this, I need men and women of God who will join with me to fulfill this mandate, and will join the NRAAC and even begin local caucuses. I don’t want everyone! Because it is important to remain political players in both parties. We need to be in the Democratic and Republican parties. I just need a significant number of praying people, and those who are strong and can take a stand for what is right to come into the Republican fold, so that our voices are heard.
I ask you to go to the NRAAC website at www.nraacaucus.org and see what we are all about. Then pray about this and see if you are one of the ones who God is saying, “I call you to take a stand on the other side (the Republican Party), so that you can make a difference.”
Also see if perhaps God is calling you to serve in a leadership capacity. In November, we will be making new appointments of regional and state chairs, and advisory board and national board members. If you are interested, and decide to become a member, you may submit your name, bio/resume for consideration.
I look forward to those of you who are godly and truly believe in justice and compassionate, yet self-responsibility and responsible government, joining our ranks!

WE CANT AFFORD $5,000 every 3 months, my parents are pensioner here in Nigeria.our ministry is still young.
