“For they that wait upon the Lord he shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not get weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

Bishop Diante Waldon is a native of McDonough Ga. He was reared in a Christian home where he not only learned about love for his fellow man, but also the love of Christ. Through this Christian upbringing he was blessed to accept Jesus Christ at an early age thus, beginning his tireless effort to tell others about the Savior.

Bishop Waldon was educated in the Henry County School System. He was very active in many extra curricular programs that shaped his morals and values. While in the Henry County School System, Bishop Waldon was enrolled in the N.J.R.O.T.C program. He was elevated to Cadet Lieutenant and Company Alpha Commander in his senior year. He was also a part of the Boys Literary Team. After graduation from high school Bishop Waldon attended Savannah State College now Savannah State University majoring in Psychology and Sociology. In 1993 Bishop Waldon attended Clayton State College now Clayton College & State University. Bishop Waldon plans to further his education in Theology and receive a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Theology in the near future.
Bishop and Pastor Waldon are both currently enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary. In early 2008 they will be awarded their Masters of Divinity and in late 2008 their Doctorate in Theology.
Bishop Waldon and Pastor Waldon are avid supporters and teachers of the Shoal Creek B.T.U. and Sunday School Congress, where they have been members for more than fifteen years. It was through this convention that many of the foundational stones of their Christian lives were laid. Bishop and Pastor Waldon are also former staff members of the New Era Congress Of Christian Education, a division of the New Era Baptist Convention Of Georgia. In their small suburban community they were affectionately known as the “Dynamic Duo” for their work with many youth of the local area and statewide.

On October 13,2002, God ordained and birthed a new ministry, Cathedral of Hope, "The church that teaches; there is a light at the end of every tunnel." God has given a mandate to Bishop and Pastor Waldon to change the community and the world with the unadulterated truth of His Word. God has birthed through them a ministry that is not afraid to teach the Word as He has ordained it to be taught. Cathedral is a church that is set forth to dispel all false doctrine and heresy. Cathedral has been birthed to reach the unchurched, those who have been tossed to the side by the traditional and insensitive ministries. As God aids Bishop and Pastor Waldon, lives will be touched and God’s kingdom will blossom.

In 2006 Bishop Waldon was elected International Presiding Prelate of the Maranatha Faith Fellowship International. He oversees churches, leaders and ministries in the United State and in over 15 countries including Nigeria, Togo, South Africa, Guatemala, Ivory Coast, and Kenya to name a few.

As God continues to pour into Bishop and Pastor Waldon, their prayer is that others will flourish through the work that God does through them, that God might be glorified in all things and receive all credit.
