Candy believes gospel music is a ministry. She treats it as such, She promotes her music so to reach dying hurting people. She believes in such a time as this, it will take more than a good sound to lift up a burdened soul. She believes in an old ancient Jewish King's gift of the anointing and she prays each and every day asking God to fill her with his anointing. Her primary desire is to win souls to the Kingdom; Candy Watkins "New Day" albums proceeds goes to winning more souls to the Kingdom
