Elder Christopher DeVon Eugene Alexander Barnes was born on March 22, 1987 at St. Luke Hospital in Houston, Texas. Having been in church all his life, Elder Barnes knew all the motions and mannerisms that were associated with being in a Baptist Church. However, at the age of 12, after being elected by the church to be installed as junior deacon, Elder Barnes began to see an inconsistency between his church life and personal life. This began to plague him for a year until he went to a Christian summer camp. Being moved by the Holy Spirit at the question, “If you were to die today, where would you go?” Elder Barnes gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. The next year, would prove to be a backsliding season until he read “A Divine Revelation of Hell” by Mary K. Baxter, and at the age of 14, he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. Two years later, at the age of 16, Elder Barnes was called to preach the Kingdom of God according to Jeremiah 1:5. Now a recent graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, Elder Barnes is currently a Pastor of Christian Education at Peace Fellowship Church under the leadership of Bishop C. Edward Moten and Lady Lucy D. Moten.

Elder C. DeVon Barnes seeks to be a Catalyst for the Kingdom of God in a mighty way, and as God continues to give him direction and grace, he believes his desire shall be granted. Elder Barnes is also a proud member of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity, Inc.
