- It’s God’s divine plan for His creation to worship Him. And though everyone has been given the command to praise the Lord, it’s clear that Pastor Cornelius Clark has a special calling, not just to worship God, but also to encourage, uplift and inspire believers.
Raised in a musically rich family, Pastor Clark has spent his life using the gift of song to hearten those who are around him. His premium musical talent has brought him before some of the most widely renowned personalities in Gospel music, such as Daryl Coley, Richard Smallwood, Donnie McClurkin and Kirk Franklin.
In 1992, his vocal talents secured him a role in the theatrical presentation and motion picture, Leap Of Faith, starring Steve Martin and Debra Winger. Since then, Pastor Clark has been a featured vocalist on musical projects by Carnell Murrell, Edwin Hawkins, Kirk Franklin and Bishop T.D. Jakes.
He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Streator Community Church in Streator, IL after his ordination by Bishop Larry D. Trotter of Sweet Holy Spirit Church in Chicago, IL. His debut album is forthcoming, featuring frequently requested songs like “Jesus, My King” and “I Need You More.”
Bringing a fresh wind of worship and praise to the body of Christ, Pastor Cornelius Clark is helping to change the face of what traditional churchgoers call “ministry” and challenging Christians to cultivate their own personal walk with the Lord.
