About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.): I am a life expert looking for Churches on the topic of health and fitness for the Black woman. I recently launched a campaign for African-American women on Facebook.com and through my website called Black Women Do Workout!...which is held as my grassroots effort for spreading a fitness awareness by promoting and championing Black women who are determined to not be a part of a the staggering 66% ratio in the US who are overweight and the 37% that are technically obese, meaning that they are 30% above their ideal body weight according to the Centers for Disease Control. While obesity increases the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and, high blood pressure (leading diseases for African-Americans), the goal here is to work as a group by celebrating and acknowledging other incomparable Sistas who are more than willing to share their personal fitness goals, services and healthy lifestyle changes that can help save lives. As we approach our 4000 member mark, the progress made here is GOD GIVEN PROOF that by showing praise, encouragement, inspiration and support in the way of sisterhood and fellowship towards promoting health and fitness goals, Sistas have not only kept themselves motivated in their own objectives but additionally have made a difference in the lives of others. I am interested in continuing to spread this message to others that Black Women “DO” Workout! by speaking to churches. Some Christian's have the tendency to think that they know the unrevealed will of God. When it come to God's Will the only resources that the Christian have is the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. When it come to God's judgement upon sin or upon a nation Christian's should be very mindful of what they say because we can be in danger of acting like they know the mind of God. In this message Pastor Nichols encourages Christian' to be prayerful for the Nations of Haiti instead of being jugdemental. If God was punishing Haiti for their sins through this earthquake then America is way pass due.
