- Rev. Dr. Anthony Leon Byrd, Sr., is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He is the husband of Dr. Jeaneal L. Byrd, a virtuous woman of God, who is a great support and helpmeet for him. God has blessed them with five gifted sons, one of whom is also in the ministry, and a niece whom they helped to raise and claim as a daughter. Pastor Byrd accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of nine, accepted the call to the ministry in 1987, and in 1993 answered the call to pastor the First Baptist Church of Elwood, Kansas, where he has served for over 16 years, and where he currently serves as the undershepherd. Pastor Byrd is the spiritual father of sixteen sons and daughters in the ministry. He has attended Western Baptist Bible College, (K.C., Mo.) Carver Baptist Bible Institute, (K.C., Mo.) Heart of America Christian College and Theological Seminary, (K.C., Mo.) and Ambassadors of Faith College and Seminary. (St. Joseph, Mo.) God has blessed him to obtain his Bachelors in Ministry, a Masters in Theology and a Doctorate in Theology. He also served as an instructor for the Ambassadors of Faith College and Seminary. Pastor Byrd comes from a family of well-known singers, songwriters, recording artists, musicians, preachers and pastors. He serves as the Vice-Moderator of the Northeastern District Association of Kansas, and Director of Music for both the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Kansas, and the Northeastern District Association of Kansas. He also has a radio broadcast ministry called “Gird up with the Word” which aired for over four years on KGGN 890 am Kansas City, Mo., and for nearly two years on KSRD 91.9 fm., St. Joseph, Mo. & coast to coast via satellite and the world wide web. He believes in spreading the good news of the Gospel that the lost may be saved and that the saved may be equipped.

As a Note: The Guinness Book of World Records talks about the letters "J' and "V" as being the newest letters added to English Alphabet, which is post Shakespearean 1630. So the letters "J" and "V" are only 379 years old. Also In The Hebrew /Greek There Is No Letter "J" Take These Bible Tools And Look And See; All "J"s Are a "Y" And All "V" Are a "W" In The Hebrew: Praise Yahweh! We Can Do All Things In Yahweh! It Is A Wonderful Time For Us To Be Here This Day! Note: Most Rev, Preachers, Evangelist, Churches, Artists, Ministries, Prophets, Prophetess, Men And Woman Who Say They Have Been Call By The Most High God Yahweh, Don't Even Call Him By His Real Holy Name; And On Top Of That, Those Who Know Want Even Tell Those Who Don't Know, His Real Holy Name Is YHWH Which Is YUD-HAY-WAW-HAY That Saids "YAHWEH".
