Scripture for today is Daniel 10:10-14. Delayed does not mean denied, all of your prayers are heard, but there are reasons why they are not answered. Let us evaluate what we are asking, why we are asking, and when we are asking. Let's deal with the what, is what we're asking for in the perfect will of God? Paul prayed a prayer about a thorn being removed, however it is not recorded whether it was ever removed or not, Jesus makes it simpler for us when He prays in the garden of Gethsemane, somethings we want that God doesn't want us to have, and then there are somethings god doesn't want us to have YET!!!! Now let us deal with why, your motive behind what you are asking, is it to glorify God or to glorify you. James 4:3 says "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." We ought to really search our hearts we will be surprised when we have sincerely done this. Finally the when, sometimes ask for things we are not ready for or out of season. Have you ever heard of someone winning the lottery millions of dollars and 3 years later they have nothing to show for it, they couldn't handle it. The blessing of the lord it maketh rich and adds no sorrow. God is not going to give you and abundance when you are not being a goo steward of what you have already. when your season comes around God will have your harvest ready for you; ripe sweet, and juicy, but don't miss it, otherwise, you may be in the wilderness longer than neccessary!!!
