- Adrian “FRO” Johnson was born in Germany and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. FRO was raised in the Claiborne Homes projects in South Memphis which made staying out of trouble difficult for Fro but he managed to stay focused. With very little in the bank to start, he bought a 4-track drum machine and a microphone and starting working for the Lord. FROs last album, “Highway to Heaven” sold over 40,000 copies, the lead single “His Struggle” was nominated for song of the year and FRO was also 2- times nominated for Christian rap artist of the year in 2009 and 2010
Adrian “FRO” Johnson music is described as being urban gospel. Fro delivers a high energy show filled with truthful, heartfelt lyrics that any audience can relate to. He is dedicated to staying on the highway, going from city to city to insure the ministry touches lives.
