Crossing Over is a journey, a walk that is not made overnight or a one time experience, but a journey that takes years to reach it’s destiny in Christ.
And for this reason the lord has put it on my heart only for the few individuals who desire to experience the depth of Jesus Christ, to come together in fellowship through face book. Invite everyone to join this group. Our goal is to keep the flames never out, Lev 6:13.

Last night, we had a good session among friends discovering interior way of prayer. The pursuit of Christ is no longer by way of exterior means in outward worship services, bible studies, ministries and even in prayer that we have been taught. Christ hid himself in our hearts and it is there that we will find him. As a group we explored a few methods of pursuing our beloved King to begin our inward journey.
We also explored signs and spirits of the “Dark Night of the Soul” mentioned by John the Cross, a great spiritual mentor of 16th century.
As we pursue Christ a deep inward work is brought upon us by the Holy Spirit to free us from barriers and hidden wounds, that hinder intimacy with Christ, ourselves and others. In the dark night we find ourselves feeling board and unfulfilled with religious activity and ministry, often wondering if God’s favor has left us. We begin to long for more and a hunger is awakened in us that forces us to re-examine our spiritual life, our ministry, vocation and relationships. This is very disturbing and we feel like we are backsliding in our faith, so in desperation we long to return to our first love we once knew when we began with Christ. Something deeper is awakened in us and its mystery haunts us and compels us to find what we can no longer ignore-love.
These are the signs of the dark night and are not to be seen as something to fear, but to embrace as our deliverance to freedom.
The spirits of the dark night are the inward tendencies of how we find comfort apart from God. We look to other lovers in idolatries and fornications. We blasphemy God with doubts and disbeliefs and find ourselves confused in our efforts of trying to control the circumstances of our life. These spirits expose our false selves and lead us to a true interior redemptive work.
We hope as a group to meet monthly to support our journey in Christ, discovering the inward way of prayer and redemptive work of Christ. Those who had attended received the book by Jeanne Guyon, Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ to read as a guide in our journey. Our discussion will be around her spiritual insights and directions.
I look forward to share my experiences with you as we journey together. Come join us and be part of the deeper things of God.
Beloved it was encouraging to hear from and as we discuses our experiences journeying in the depths of Jesus Christ. This inward journey is a longing that Christ has put in our hearts and as a group in Uganda, we are discovering how to cultivate this passion for the Lord. It is not an idea or even a doctrine but experiential or more precisely a process of relationally knowing Christ.
This inward journey starts in prayer and leads to a transformation of the heart, a purifying of things in our life that hinder relationships both with God and others. As we discover more of Christ we discover more of ourselves and in this process he sets us free to be more of what we truly were meant to be—his passionate bride. Only the bridegroom is able to gain our hearts in such a way and in return we gain him.
I look forward to journey with you on this most important walk towards knowing the Father as Christ knew him. There is no other pursuit greater.
