- Evangelist Jacqueline (Jakki) T. Gilchrist was born in Queens, New York on May 20, 1970 and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. From birth the Lord had his hand on her life as He, with purpose, placed her in the hands that He saw fit to raise her to eventually be a woman of God. Jacqueline is blessed to be a part of a family who loves Jesus and have all been blessed with many musical talents. From an early age, there was something always special about the quiet and reserved spirit within her (However, not as quiet now since she has grown in the Lord).
She would go on to be a mentor to those striving for more, a friend to the friendless, a help to those in need, and a mother to many without giving birth to her own. Jacqueline loves people and has a heart for service. She strives to stay in a place where she is the “APPLE OF HIS EYE” while knowing that her “FAITH IS TAKING HER SOMEPLACE”. The promises of God are what she stands on and her desire is to seek Him like never before.
Evangelist Gilchrist was ordained at St. John’s Pentecostal Church in Brooklyn, New York, now named St. John's World Tabernacle. There she is a Christian Living teacher, overseeing the Young Adult Ministry, the Community Advocacy/Social Services Ministry and a praise and worship leader. Jakki feels that there is never too much you can do for the Lord.
Aside from that, Jakki is the Godly proud co-owner of her own Training and Development Consulting Firm, Character Builderz. She enjoys the portion of her job that allows her to service the underprivileged and conduct self-esteem and character-building workshops. Jakki also sits on the Board of Directors for the Mother Rose Fayton Foundation, a non-profit that serves youth and families, recovering substance abusers, and the homeless community. She is now looking forward to making great connections in the body of Christ.
