Is a minister and preacher of the Gospel. James started preaching at the age of twenty and completed four (4) years of bible college at Calvary Baptist, New York School of the Bible, on W 57th Street, NY, NY. He had a strong passion for outreach and street ministry and cut his musical teeth while hired full time in the late 1987-88, with an evangelical organization called “Abounding Grace Ministries”. There James and an evangelistic team would sing, preach and evangelize the streets of New York for two years six (6) days a week. During his tenor with Abounding Grace Ministries, Pastor Ward began to realize his anointing and gift to win souls by using the tools of music to draw souls in to hear the word of God. As a result of much intercessory prayer, Pastor Ward and Abounding Grace Ministries Team won over 2000 Souls to Christ in just one summer. Pastor/Evangelist Ward was ordained twice while serving two large New York Ministries. Consequently, Pastor Ward is the President and Founder of the Evangelistic Outreach Ministry “Reconciled Ministries Christian Center”, Bronx NY, which was incorporated in 2000. His vision is to Pastor/Teach and Evangelize through music, media and the preached word. Pastor Ward is also the President and Founder of NY Cable Show "Gospel In The City", which is an outreach ministry of Reconciled Ministry Christian Center. www.gospelinthecity.org. Also, Pastor Ward is an accomplished songwriter and singer and has song with some of the top gospel artist of today, including Donnie McClurkin and CeCe Winans. Pastor Ward feels that music can and is a viable tool that can be used as a vehicle to win souls to christ and through musical training opportunities can be a tool to help grow a local church, in addition to teaching, and coummunity outreach, such as Pantry, Afterschool Programs, Prison, Hospital and Nursery Home ministries.

As such, Brother Ward writes urban music as a vehicle and tool to reach people in the streets, prison and traditional music for churches, worship conferences and nursing homes.

Brother Ward’s only desire is to give God the Glory through all of his gifts.
