- On September 29, 1980, Martin A. Bass “The Great”, was born to Robert and Carmen Bass at Research Medical Center in Kansas City Missouri. From the day he was born he already knew three things that would come to pass in his life - To become a preacher; a millionaire at a young age and be a philanthropist.
Martin’s first family church was Ark Christian Center in Kansas City, KS, where his father was head deacon and his mother, head usher. Aubrey Singleton was his first pastor for 14 years.
After his father passed away from diabetes in 1993, his older brother, Jesse; his only sister, Angie (also the oldest sibling) and mother joined New Beginnings Evangelistic Outreach Ministries. Apostle Vickie M. Barnes. While there in Kansas City, Missouri, at New Beginnings, he was ordained head deacon at the age of 21 in 2002 and ordained a minister of the Gospel in 2007.
He was there at New Beginnings up until 2009 where he multi-tasked as head deacon, intercessor, armor bearer, treasurer. praise team,(as well as in the men’s ministry and music ministry), helped in the media ministry as well as serving as the church graphic designer and printer.
Bethlehem Assembly, which is located in Kansas City, MO, where he is getting mentored by Apostle and Founder Raymond Mabion.
Presently he is with The Rock at Stony Point C.O.N. Which is located in Kansas City, KS, where Dr. Pastor Judy B. Sanders is head parishioner.
Martin A. Bass, “The Great”, started his ministry in 1999, named Truth Ministries - to give people the real truth about God and His word through scripture based teachings.
After 2006 Martin felt God tugging on him to really start to minister one on one to others, no matter what the situation; he had a desire to go. After playing much tug of war with God, he finally accepted his call in the latter part of 2009 - to do Youth & Men’s Crusades all over Kansas City, Kansas and beyond.
