Pastor Carlton L. Davis was born October 16, 1964 in Americus, Ga. the eldest of two children. After the death of both his parents and his maternal grandmother God placed him with his aunt, Katherine English, who even though she had 2 other children, raised and loved him and his sister Pamela as her own children. During his young years God quietly kept a hand and call on his life. At the age of 14 God called Pastor Davis to preach the Gospel. Feeling he was too young he ran for many years but God still kept him. After serving a short time in the United States Army, Pastor Davis met Cathy Lawson. They were married on January 21, 1990. After rededicating his life to the Lord and being obedient to voice of God, Pastor Davis joined Christ Temple Outreach Apostolic Holiness Church Inc. in Monroe, Georgia under the leadership of Apostle Marvin E. Moore. As an ordained Elder he served as Chief Financial Officer, President of the Brotherhood Ministry, and assisted other ministries while preaching the Gospel whenever God gave him an opportunity. Equipped with the Word of God in his hand and in his heart ,he and his wife started Breaking Chains Christian Center. Pastor and First Lady Davis have one child (Rekesha) and three grandchildren (India ,Joshua and Khalil).

I had a discussion with someone who felt that if one of the requirements for being on the board was that they tithe it was like paying to be on the board and that was not right. My reply was that board dealt with the business and finances of the church and if they did not contribute financially to the church how could they expect to have input on how the church finances were distributed .
