About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.): Rev. Phillip Simmons was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Charles and Cornelia Simmons. He attended Peter J. Bryant Elementary School, Walter F. Parks Middle School, and Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Rev. Simmons studied Music Education for five years at Mercer University in Atlanta. He furthered his studies at Jacksonville Theological Seminary of Jacksonville, Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies and a Master Degree in Theology.

Rev. Simmons began his preaching career at the age of eleven. He was first ordained as a young minister by the Bishop J.O. Patterson of the Churches of God in Christ, Inc. Later, he was ordained as a Baptist minister at the Antioch Baptist Church of McDonough, Georgia by the Rev. Greg Montgomery and moderator Rev. O.D. Tyler.

Rev. Simmons has served in numerous churches as Assistant Pastor, Interim Pastor and Minister of Music over the years. He served as Senior Pastor of Harvest of Faith Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia for two years. He presently serves as Associate Minister of the Fellowship Group Baptist Church for the past four years.

Rev. Simmons is the father of four wonderful children, Phillip Andre, Lydia Marie, Cornelius Patrick, and Malik Isaiah. He is married to the loving and beautiful Erica J. Simmons.
