- Robert Tinder, (Bobby known to many), puppet minister, ventriloquist, cast member of the "Learn the Word" TV Show, residing in Indianapolis, IN, is a native of Kokomo, IN. He became interested in puppetry in 2007 at a Boot camp VBS in Marion, IN at Ephesus SDA church. Robert is so thankful to Erica McFarland for asking him if he could help out with the Army puppets. You know when you know there is a calling to move forward in whatever God calls you to do. The name R.E.T.J. Puppet Ministry came to mind which stands for Righteous Eternal Trumpet of Jesus. So he purchased a puppet stage to get things started and a couple of puppets.
Bobby then was moved in 2008 to help out his friends Robert W. Stevenson and Richard O. Jackson of Damascus Road Recording Co., LLC in promoting the ministry that God had given them. Bobby learned about promoting and some web design which helped his friends in a mighty way to achieve recognition for their talents.
But there was a tugging at his heart to pursuit R.E.T.J. Puppet Ministry at the end of December of 2009. So early in 2010 the ministry started ministering January 17th at the Fountain of Life Church in Kokomo, IN. and had a presentation February 26th at Geater Center in Anderson, IN which was canceled due to building problems. On to Watson Park "Praise in the Park 1" April 17th for Tabernacle of Hope's outreach, and "Praise in the Park 2" at Tarkington Park July 17th. Robert was really moved by the people of the communities around the Parks. The ministry reach out to Wayman Chapel AME church VBS of Kokomo July 29th and 2 days later at Indiana State Ushers Song Fest presented by the Great Commission Church of God of Indianapolis, August 5th at the Grace Tabernacle of Praise VBS in Kokomo, and 2 days later at the Black Expo Kids World in Anderson, IN. Robert also was moved to add more music, hugs and laughter to the R.E.T.J Puppet Ministry.
