- My story began way before I was born. My mother Angela Carter experienced health concerns before me and my brother even took our first breath. The option came up to abort us or possibly loose her life, she fought against the odds and trusted God that there was a reason we were put in her womb. Born March 28, 1989. I grew up on the streets of Deep Creek rd Fayetteville. I was taught at a young age to trust and lean on God. Through my journey I strayed away from those teachings, but the things my mother taught me brought me back to God and I have been here ever since. God has a special way of reaching each and every soul, he reached mine through music. As a child, I was fascinated by instruments. The sounds each one made, the way the notes came together to make a masterpiece brought peace to my mind. I am a current member of Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion church, where I hold the position of the drummer. At first I thought music wasn't for me because people told me "you won't reach nobody", but I kept looking into it and kept writing. In 2007 while taking classes at Fayetteville Tech Community College, I ran into the FOUNDER of L.I.F.E. STYLE. God Blessed that conversation .We talked and became family. The music and fellowship followed. Through many events and a lot of trials and tribulations, the Bond we have as brothers has remained. Currently, I'm in the Army as a 42 Alpha Human Resource Specialist. I am a E-3 and I love it. The only thing thats hard is not being able to be with my family. Still in everything I do I trust God

JOB DESCRIPTION
The music department of Shiloh U.C.C. is seeking a qualified and creative part-time piano player to play every Sunday of the month for the Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Young Adult/Youth Choir, and the Mass Choirs. Shiloh U.C.C. enjoys a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel music. Interested candidates must be able to teach vocal parts, recommend new songs, work with a team, work with the current Minister of Music and follow directions. Additionally, the part-time piano player must be able to travel with choirs and the church congregation in support of the pastor for invitations at other churches. The candidate must be able to practice with choirs at least twice a week in preparation for Sunday morning service. Candidates that can read music is a plus (not mandatory).
Shiloh United Church of Christ is located in rural Fayetteville, NC close to the Baywood subdivision and golf course. The church is under new leadership and headed in a new direction. To get in on the ground level of a growing ministry will be both musically and spiritually rewarding.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates must have at least five years of experience in playing for a church or in a church setting.
• Must have own transportation
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to play both traditional and contemporary gospel
