- Pastor Samuel Harris was born in a small town of Shelby, Ms to the parents of Rutha Harris and Samuel Jones. Pastor Harris grew up in Mississippi until the year of 1987 when he graduated. He then moved to Memphis, TN where he confessed his life to Christ. He then became a member of the Victory Temple Church (Pastor/Founder: Bishop Samuel Powell). Then, in the year of 1992, Pastor Harris confessed his calling into the ministry. After three years of studying and preaching, he was ordained as a minister. He went on to further his education by receiving a master’s degree in Christian Education and Old Testament Theology. He went on to receive his Doctoral Degree in Religious Theology and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from the Universal Ministry in Milford, Illinois. He stayed in Memphis, TN until the Lord spoke to him to move back to Ms. to start his own ministry. On returning, he went to work in the ministry under the leadership of Pastor C. L. Harris, his grandfather. While working in the minister, he became the CO- Pastor of Poplar Grove M. B. Church. He, later, was recognized by the Delta Youth Ministry Association where he was ordained as a council member. In November, 2004, he became the co-pastor of Shiloh M. B. Church in Gunnison, MS, Where he later became the Pastor in 2007. February 2009 the Lord spoke to Prophet Harris to start the ministry and in that same month he bless us with a building March 1, 2009 was the birth of True Living Word Temple Of Deliverance Ministry. He is the husband of one wife and the proud father of seven children. He is a man that loves the Lord and is led by the Holy Spirit. He is appointed, anointing, and approved to preach the living word of God
