On My Back Again!

Well, I am in the hospital again! I came here on Saturday evening to
check to see if I was having a flare-up of the Crohn's. I woke up that
morning in pain and I thought I just had a sore stomach from something I
ate. I hurt from that morning to that evening!

Eventually, I got tired of hurting and had my wife call the ambulance to
bring me here to the hospital. Right now, they are checking me out to
see what's going on. So I will keep you all posted.

HOW CAN THERE BE AN IGNORANT HOLINESS?

"A good man does not ask what is the way in which he must walk, or in which is the most pleasant walking, but what is the right way, the way in which he should walk."

"The way of religion (Christianity) and godliness is a good old way, the way that all the saints in all ages have walked in." - both quotes are from Matthew Henry

"We cannot at all times discern the path of duty, and at such times it is our wisdom to apply to the Lord Himself."

"Father, first tell… Continue

Hope

Hope is such an intangible abstract. What is it based on, and how do I wrap understanding around it? I have often thought of hope as wishful thinking. There were times when I thought hope was faith in its infancy. I thought hope was composed of the positive things and the pep talks that were given to me in life. Hope seemed to me too weak to sustain someone in their darkest moments. Hope seemed to me to be equated with things like luck, or catching a good break or the idea that I might be saved… Continue

Do-Overs & Forgiveness

Once again it's inventory time. I'll see something or get a glimpse of a part of life when the moment seemed perfect, almost picturesque. A part of my mind will want to stay there, pick up life from that moment and live happily ever after. I think about dirt roads and smell the scent of pine and red clay. Sometimes its the sights and sounds of a Friday night in the city. When the eagle was flying and a dollar was worth 90 cents. I think of relatives and friends who seemed like permanent… Continue

Tears In A Chokehold

Its been said that a man ain't supposed to cry. Many of us had that beaten into us one way or another. Some of our mothers beat it into us. Some fathers, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, grandparents, the streets, the farm, the school systems, the city, county, state and federal prisons. So many false impressions are hammered into our young peoples' minds until empathy and compassion are seen as handicaps among our young men. You are not supposed to look back at your history of whippings,… Continue

Can Men Talk To Men?

I have been in a blogging mood this past couple of weeks. Here is what's on my mind today. I know that it is second nature for man to want to communicate with women. Hey, I do the same thing. I haven't seen a picture of a man and said, "I'd like to talk to talk to him". Do we need to have man to man talks? There are so many things confronting our communities that we need as many forums as we can get. What about Christian men? Are we learning how to walk with God and present ourselves worthy to… Continue

Authority In The Kingdom

he question was raised in another group about Authority In The Kingdom and how it applies to us. It was commented on by a few people so we thought it should be addressed here: The word of God is so exciting! There are laws, covenants and traditions throughout the Old & New Testaments. All those things were fulfilled in Jesus' death, burial & resurrection. The fulfillment of the law is Love. To say that there is another doctrine to adopt is to say that the blood of Jesus was not… Continue

Spiritual Growth

As I live and grow one of the things that I've noticed is that when I become conscious that something is not beneficial to my life I must take action. It doesn't take as long to recognize as it used to, but it does require an introspective approach. Some people learn different techniques to get a "check-up from the neck-up", some never do and others are "ok" with themselves as they are. When I find that a habit or behavior is causing me problems I make the effort to change. It is usually at… Continue

Women & Submission

This was written in response to the topic, "Women & Submission":First and foremost, the couple must submit to God. God must be first in their understanding of what is of ultimate importance to each. In their submission to God they learn to submit to each other to the glory of God. The man is the head, but just as 2 people cannot talk at the same time and achieve understanding, each must take turns listening to the other. The listening is submission. If the wife has a better idea for… Continue

IS BREAST FEEDING OBSCENE?

Breastfeeding is normal. Women have breasts to produce milk for their babies, and babies are born to be breastfed. In most of the world everyone knows this, and breastfeeding is “no big deal”.

In North America, however, and some other parts of the “developed” world...we seem to have forgotten this very simple truth. Womens' breasts have become a symbol of sex. They are used to sell everything from cars to clothes to beer....they have been deemed obscene, sexually explicit and… Continue

Justification and Sanctification...in THAT order!

Understanding the difference between justification and sanctification can be as important as understanding the difference between salvation and damnation. Rightly dividing between the two is of crucial importance. When you understand what they are, you can then draw a line in the sand and say, "This is what saves. This is not what saves."

Justification is the work of God where the righteousness of Jesus is reckoned to the sinner so the sinner is declared by God as being righteous… Continue

Of Blood and Sacrifice.

Of Blood and Sacrifice.

The Body cannot live without the blood. If you had a perfect body and you would change the blood to clear water, the body would die. Why? The life of the Body is the Blood. The same thing applies to the body of a Christian and also, the Church as a whole. Without the Blood, the Body would die. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an… Continue

On Sunday night there was special on the news about young women who are kidnapped by pimps from all over the US who force them to work for them. There primary way to solicit sales is via WWW.CRAIGSLIST.COM

"CASE CLOSED"JESUS WAS NOT A WHITE MAN, BLACK MAN, ASIAN MAN,......."HE WAS A DIVINITY PLACEMENT"

Jesus was neither...African, Black, Caucasian, White, Asian, Latino nor any combination of the available bloodlines. Some might ask-how is that possible? The Heavenly Father decided to choose the Israelites out of all the nationalities available, firstly. Then, he waited unto man had just about run out of himself and decided, that he would implant his divine seed in the womb of Mary-"virgin Mary." She is the first surrogate mom on earth. Smile. If there's any hair texture, color likeness and… Continue

Silent Sniper No More

Silent Sniper No More

Recently someone was facing some issues on one of the social networking sites of which I am a member. She stated that no sooner than making the confession to live debt-free, several things had begun happening. She was a little down about it and just wondered a little bit about God and how this could happen. And I commented back on the post and just reminded her that every time we as saints of God, make a confession to live according to His Word and His Will for our… Continue

Please, do not harden your heart, but accept the truth even if you don't understand it yet.

Blessed to Be a Blessing

The radio show went really well today. I could really feel God's presence while we were on the air. His presence was very sweet. I was a little concerned since we changed the format. I just wanted God to be pleased and the people blessed. We had several prayer requests that came in during and after the show. I am grateful that God provided what the people needed. I love being a vessel for Him.
