Fruitfulness In Leadership

Fruitfulness in leadership is not the result of training , location , or resources . It is the result of abiding in Christ . Jesus taught the first leaders this principle when He said , ''Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes , that it may bear more fruit '' ( John 15 ;2 ) . As a branch must be in the vine to bear fruit , so must the fruit- bearing leader be in Christ . Effectiveness in leadership is a result of abiding in…

Leaders That Compete With One Another

Jesus taught His disciples to love one another . He said to them , ''This is My commandment , that you love one another as I have loved you'' ( John 15 :12 ) . Believers , leaders especially , are to be known by their love for one another . Perhaps the saddest commentary on leaders is when competition , not love , controls and shapes their relationships . Jesus never intended for His leaders to compete with one anther . He wants them to love one another and respect one another's calling from…

God's Home is Peaceful

God's Home is Peaceful

I remember what my great grand father used to say about my grand mother. " Your Momo is getting on my nerves because she thinks I am not listening to her around the house. She starts speaking loud and talking longer trying to make me upset. " Well we married men do hear our wives and still be doing other things at the same time. If you're married or if you're in love, the woman you love needs time to be heard. When a woman isn't heard, she starts…

Forgive me of any SINS !

Forgive me of any sins !

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

All, and therefore you, my listeners and readers, and myself. We have sinned; that is, we have broken God's law; for 'There is none righteous, no, not one' (Rom. 3:10). There is none that has kept the law of God. We have transgressed every knowledge or unknowingly of His moral law, either in act, word, or evil desire. The charge is heavy, but the verdict is true. Let us consider the…

Two Views Of A Shepherd

Jesus gave two views of the shepherd in ( John 10:11-18 ) .Jesus compared Himself as the " good shepherd' to the ''hireling'' who flees because of danger . The hireling leaves the sheep to be caught by the enemy . The hireling is there only for the pay , compliments , and convenience and will not run a risk for the sheep . Jesus said that the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep , even those outside the fold , that they may be brought into the fold . Right now , God's Holy Spirit…

It Is Ok To Cry

It is ok to cry

Jesus wept. — John 11:35
My grand mother cried at most funerals we have gone to and would tell me when i was a young child " that jesus is crying with her.
I have grown to know this scripture of Jesus weeping with Mary over Lazarus.
We now come to the shortest verse in all the Bible. Without question, it is the easiest to memorize. It contains only two words, three…
