Let The Holy Spirit do His Job

The topic of holiness is too vague to explain to a non-believer or new convert. What we NEED to preach is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The New Birth and indwelling Holy Spirit will take care of our HOLINESS (Read Jude 24), Too often we use legalism and tradition to be peoples "Holy Ghost" we say we believe in the power but don't let the Holy Spirit do His job.

What Does it Mean to Pray in The Spirit?

Prayer is often the struggle, a tiny, petty human attempting to understand the ways of God, to accept the will of God, the battle to allow God to replace our ridiculously selfish will with His own incredible, beautiful, mysterious will -- the battle between spirit and flesh. We want to do it our way, we think we have the formula figured out, we think our studies and thoughts have been fruitful, and that we are the experts, and yet God says: "No, you know nothing of Me, but if you allow Me to… Continue

Understanding The Book of Job

THE PLACE OF JOB IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:  Job is the first of five books

commonly referred to as "The Books Of Poetry".  These include Job,

Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon.  Called such

because they are written in poetic style in contrast to the narrative

style of most other books, they are also often referred to as "Wisdom

Literature"
(especially Job, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes).  Oswald

Chambers (1874-1917) offered this… Continue

Advice For Those Wanting to Do Institutional Ministry

Here is some advice for those interested in Chaplaincy. Chaplaincy is a weird dynamic because you are not only clergy but clinical at the same time, you may have to deal with situations that are not always “religious” in nature. When dealing with Non-Believers in an institution using titles like “Evangelist” or “Prophetess” can sometimes block your initial entry into an institution, You know who you are in Christ Jesus and declaring it when introducing yourself to people (as a Prophet) for lack… Continue

The Problem or The Solution?

Are you problem focused? Or solution focused? The Holy Spirit also gave me a strong revelation on this. Those who keep focused on the problem rather than the solution will begin to see the problem as larger than the solution. Are we paying more attention to the problem than we are the solution? Is your problem bigger than God's solution? Jesus came to bring solution, and by us accepting the solution, it makes use of His labor and blood which brings Him much glory, but by paying more attention… Continue

Hannah's Prayer

I Samuel 1:10 "And she [was] in bitterness of soul, and prayed

unto the LORD, and wept sore."

This is another way of saying that her heart was broken. It

appears, she was kneeling, and praying to the LORD. This prayer was

coming from her innermost being.

I Samuel 1:11 "And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if

thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and

remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto… Continue

The Problem with Religion

Religion is quick to discredit the ministries of others

Religion is very judgmental and is quick to discredit others who are laboring in the kingdom for the sake of Christ. Even if a minister has a few flaws, but the rest of his ministry is bearing good fruit for the kingdom, religion will be quick to overlook all the good fruit, and focus in on the handful of negatives and flaws rather than the good fruit that is evident. Look at how even though Jesus was flawless in everything He did,… Continue
