Diary of Well Women - Day 1 - "Jesus are you really real?"
JACKIE writes:
Today, I woke up wondering, "Will today be like yesterday's yesterday?" Will I finally experience true happiness or will the cycle of dissatisfaction continue as my relationships seem like a hotel with a revolving door...people check in but they rarely stay.
That preacher was on TV last night talking about Jesus loves me. Why in the world… Continue

Have you ever gone thru a Where's Waldo book? Or seen a page of it online? There's usually lots of activity on the page. To find Waldo, you have to first KNOW what Waldo looks like. You must know all of the details of his clothing and the shape of his body and his face. To find Waldo, you must also not be distracted by all the activity on the page nor must you fall for deceptions that are purposely put… Continue

IS IT WRONG FOR BELIEVERS TO ARGUE ABOUT THEOLOGICAL MATTERS?
TEXT
2 Timothy 2:14, 23
PROBLEM: The Apostle Paul seemed to forbid theological arguments when he instructed Timothy "not to strive about words to no profit" and to "avoid foolish and ignorant disputes". On the other hand, Paul himself argued with the Jews in their synagogues (Acts 17:2, 17) and disputed…Continue

Gideon and his 300 men, each one sounding a shofar, led their enemies to believe that there were 300 commanders, and hence thousands of soldiers. (Judges 7:16-20) The shofar was also used to warn civilians of enemy attack… Continue

Why are we commanded to observe the agricultural year?
Unlike the land of Egypt, which enjoys a constant supply of water from the Nile River, the Land of Israel is dependent on rain for its water supply. Hence, the farmers must depend on the rainfall for their prosperity and acknowledge that the rain is a direct… Continue

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring to you all of our broken relationships (marriages, siblings, parent/child, work-related, ministry-related). As we do, we use our faith, believing that Your Word will come to pass.
Let all bitterness, indignation, wrath, rage, bad tempers, resentment, brawling, clamor, contention, slander, abuse, evil speaking or blasphemous language, all malice, spite and ill will back biting and talebearing be banished from them.
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast…
Tuesday, August 18, 2009 marked Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's first visit to the U.S. in more than five years.
The leader stayed away after a falling out with former President George W. Bush over Egyptian human rights issues, but that topic is not going away.
While Mubarak and President Barack Obama met at the White House, Egyptian Christians were outside protesting the persecution of the Egyptian… Continue

b>EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU WANTED.
What's the difference between a pessimist and an optimist?
The pessimist never sees the life that is springing forth from a burned down forest. They don't see the new growth of grass and trees. They don't see the sun shinning every morning. All they remember is the horror of the fire.
The optimist, however, sees the new growth and is grateful… Continue
