10 Reasons to Bless the People and Land of Israel!

The Bible calls us to " Lift up a banner [and] station the guardians" on behalf of Israel (Jeremiah 51:12). Here are ten biblical reasons to bless Israel and her people: {1}... The Bible promises a blessing to those who bless the Jews, the descendants of Abraham. {2}...We are told in Scripture to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem"(Psalm 122:6). {3} Israel remains totally surrouned by murderous enemies dedicated to her annihilation(Psalm 17:8-9). {4} Literally tens of thousands of Jews living in danger, oppression, and poverty in the former soviet Union and other lands of exile, are waiting their opportunity for aliyah to Israel (Isaiiah49:22).{5} hundreds of thousands of needy Jewish children living in Israel and around the globe will go to bed hungry tonight(Psalm 17:14b; 107:8-9). {6} After many years of battling terrorism, Israel needs help providing life's basic necessities for all of her poorest families, elderly people, and children in israel and throughout the world(Proverbs 3:27-28). {7} Sadly, Many tens of thousands of Jewish orphans and street children in hundreds of former Soviet Union cities need your compassionate care in their struggle for survival each and every day of the year (Isaiah 58:70. {8} The lives of thousands of innocent Jews have been shattered by murderous terror attacks and the devastating effects of poverty (Joshua 1:14-15). {9} Israel and her people in lands of distress are often misrepresented by bias and inflammatory reporting on the part of the international media (Deuteronomy 16:19-20). {10} Israel's leaders need wisdom from God as they face the challenges of guiding the nation during these crucial times in an attamp to achieve peace and provide care for all of her people (Psalm 125:5; Isaiah 55:12)....."The LORD remembers us and will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel." (Psalm 155:12). " I will bless those who bless you." (Genesis 12:3).
