WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation's first female president.



Obama is 40 delegates shy of clinching the nomination, but he is widely expected to make up the difference Tuesday with superdelegate support and votes in South Dakota and Montana. Once he reaches the magic number of 2,118, Clinton will acknowledge that he has secured the necessary delegates to be the nominee.

The former first lady will stop short of formally suspending or ending her race in her speech in New York City.

She will pledge to continue to speak out on issues like health care. But for all intents and purposes, the two senior officials said, the campaign is over.

Most campaign staff will be let go and will be paid through June 15, said the officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge her plans.

The advisers said Clinton has made a strategic decision to not formally end her campaign, giving her leverage to negotiate with Obama on various matters including a possible vice presidential nomination for her. She also wants to press him on issues he should focus on in the fall, such as health care.

Universal health care, Clinton's signature issue as first lady in the 1990s, was a point of dispute between Obama and the New York senator during their epic nomination fight.

Clinton was at home in Chappaqua, N.Y., with her husband, former President Clinton, and was placing calls to friends and supporters.

1. John of MAG: He has malaria
2. Betty Oba: She has stomach discomforts
3. Charity: Her two children (Becky & Gladys) are sick.
4. Mary Awate: She is recovering from surgical operation done in Nairobi Kenya. She called me from Kenya.
5. Deng Jang: His memory is not perfect. He needs prayers for good memory status.
6. Florence: She has cough and malaria.
7. Gift: A child who is sick of malaria for four days now.
8. Mariam: She has heart burn.
9. Sofa: The father of this child called from 13 miles to ask for prayers for him. He had malaria.
10. Sadia: She asked prayers for her two brothers (Okenyi & Oliver) who are alcohol adicts.
11. Rose Sunday: She has malaria.
12. Joseph: He has malaria.
13. Siama: She has malaria and typhoid.
14. Bernard, Emmanuel, Renold: These children are all from one family and all of them are sick.
15. Lucia: Her 10 year old daughter Bakitha called and ask for prayers for her, she has pain on her breast.
16. Musema: She has general body pain.
17. Konga Flora: She has general body pain.
18. Josephine Jukudu: She is a baby having malaria.
19. Mary Sunday: She is expecting a baby but the month she was expecting to deliver has passed, she is worried.
20. Kofi: He has cough.
21. Sunday Joice: She has post-operation complications.
22. Lobar: Is a child with Anemia (luck of blood) admitted n the hospital.
23. Lilian: She has malaria.
24. Nora Dudu: She has general body pain and fatigue.
25. Sadia: She has her children sick and she needs prayer for their recovery.
26. Vaida: She is sick and need prayers.
27. Modi John: She has been sick for many months now. she is believing God for her healing through the prayers of others.
28. Monday: He and his child are sick and they need prayers.
29. Rose Jamba: She has sorrows. I did encourage her on the Radio. Pray that I will have opportunity to meet her personally soon.
30. Kiden: Her daughter Sarah is sick and she needs prayers.

I marvel how we as Christians look to outward things and people such as wordly governments and politicians to bring about "change". When God has given us all we need to “effect” change in our families, communities, cities, this nation and nations abroad. We have the “agent of real change” living on the inside of us.
Come on, if you are born-again and filled with the Spirit of God, then we must know that it starts with us, THE CHURCH … We have GOD’S Kingdom on the inside of us, the unshakeable, unbreakable, KINGDOM of GOD inside of us. This world is passing way, and it is passing away quickly, just as Jesus said it would.

This is the time for THE CHURCH to rise up, united and take a stand for Jesus. To be counted in and not counted out, despite the opposition and the current conditions of this decaying world. Our HOPE is not here, it is in what is to come – Joy Unspeakable and full of Glory!!!
I cannot in good conscience vote for any of the candidates. Each one has things that they represent or stand for that oppose the Word of God. I am neither Republican or Democrat. I am a daughter of the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords. I am on His side! I will not change my position no matter the “report”… or “speech”… or “promises of man” or “color, gender, or creed” … I will stand steadfast on the Promises of God Almighty!
I am so glad that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. I know that we can take Him at His word. He is true and faithful.

THEY ARE GIVEN A VOICE AT THE CONVENTION BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT STRATEGY AND EXPERIENCE.
PART OF LIVING IN A REPRESENTIVE DEMOCRACY IS TRUSTING OUR REPRESENTIVES TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT.

LET'S WATCH AND PRAY AS OBAMA CONTINUES THIS CHALLENGE, DON'T FORGET THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION IN AUGUST 2008 AND HOPE THAT HIS DELEGATES ARE RELIABLE TO THEIR SUPPORT FOR OBAMA AND THAT THEY WILL SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT IN VOTE COUNT FOR HIM.

ALSO REMEMBER THAT PLEDGED DELEGATES ARE NOT ACTUALLY BOUND TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE.

Every now and then, comes an inspiration that can lift a people to new heights. Something so profound that it changes the expectations of the man/woman to the core of self. My grand father had Joe Lewis, my father had Dr. King and Malcolm X, and now I have Barack Obama. So I will fight like Joe, dream like King, and like Malcolm I will support Obama "By any means necessary". Its OUR time, not just as black people but as a people period. At this point the old lie should die, because now the oppressor can only be found in the minds and hearts of those who choose to acknowledge the self created fact that an oppressor even exists. Push forward my people towards new ideas not for the color of skin, but for the good of all men. Congratulations to Barack Obama.. To all my convicted felons, restored rights, restore life so you can still dream. To all my none voting revolutionaries, if it came down to war, wouldn't it be wise to use every weapon available including the vote? And to last but not least my nigga's, I know you have been trained to have no trust in your brothers, brain washed into believing that if trusted with running this country Barack would do nothing but embarrass us as a people, like you haven't done that to our people already, like he could do something that other presidents can look at him in discuss, like sale arms to our enemies then accuse them of having them, then go to take them back but cant find them, or be so closely related to the biggest terrorist attack (other than on Iraq, and Slavery) that ever took place in American history. Find reason to stand beside Obama other than in front of him blocking his way. It taking till 2008 for this to happen for black people is embarrassing enough, he can not do worse than that so lighten up. See everybody at the polls!

There is much to be said about Obama....and then there is much to be said about the black community rallying around him like they did OJ, "good or bad".... But how much do we really know about this brother? I have search and read alot about him, but I still come up doubtful. There is something strange about this wonderful young man. Colin Powell, one of the most influential individual I know, who I know would have and could have gotten this same kind of support, but bowed out...I wonder what is the hidden agenda behind politics - because we know that there is. Obama, don't seem to be afraid and he tends to go with the flow - whats really going on and who are really his financial backers. I would love to live to see the first African American President, but one of CHARACTER. I am concerned about him now that he quit his home church, after a VISITING pastors comments. Something is not right....guess we'll see in the future, because God IS UNVIELING all that is evil.
