From The Desk of the Apostle

Greetings Beloved,

Recently I started teaching a series in our church that in essence provides believers with truths on how to successfully and accurately make it "thru" any circumstance that they find themselves facing in life. Often times were taught about "Heaven" and the fact of going there, which is important, but even more so, we've not had enough teachings on how to successfully manage the life with which we live and where we live it (here on earth). Once a person accepts Christ as their personal Savior....they need to know how to effectively live on earth by the standards established by God's system; "The Kingdom."

After incorporating these "spiritual nuggets" regarding prayer and applying them to our lives, we have began to witness the manifested presence (glory) of God in our services...where people were being delivered, healed, made whole and free. We literally are witnessing miracles happen while in the midst of our worship services...

Please understand that "prayer" does not altar that which God has determined; it merely achieves what He has already forordained. Prayer then becomes our earthly license for Heavenly interference.

According to John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He may give it you.

...Jesus said whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give you; yet many of us have prayed to the Father, asking what we desire and we attached the phrase..."in Jesus name" at the end and we've wondered why we haven't gotten whatever it is we've asked for.

One thing that we really must understand about "Hebrew thought" is that a person's name represented their nature or character. So when Jesus says ask in my name, He's not just saying attach my name to the request; He's saying ask in my character; in other words when you come before the Father; you ask for what I would be asking for as if I were here asking myself. When in fact, we as believers begin to operate in this manner concerning prayer...God as a result will not only give us what we prayed for but He will give us that and then throw in some extras...

Set apart for the Master's use,
