POSITIVE VOICE
A VOICE CAME FROM HEAVEN, SAYING THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED MATHEW 3.17.
This was the voice of God the father to his son Jesus Christ, what you understand by this word voice? I define voice as a sound produce from the mouth of humans and animals, or the power of speaking, it can also be defined as a right of choice or an opinion. So the definition of voice has the characters of God spoken words about Jesus Christ, if we look carefully in the book of MT.3.17, We’ll discover the reasons as to why God chose Jesus Christ as his son.
Nobody ever makes a choice about someone or something, he/she is not sure of. So with the definition of voice and its illustration, you will understand that Christ mission on earth was successful because of the testimonies of his father about him, these testimonies were what gave him the confidence to carry on. But many children are failures today because of the negative voice of their parents, can you imagine a father once called his child a fool, a bastard and a good for nothing child, this child becomes confused as he/she grow up in life, the child lives with a negative impression about himself, he sees only failures from the beginning of every project and thing, and this becomes he thought (I DON’T THINK I AM GOOD ENOUGH).So the negative voice of parents to their children can lead them to an uncertain future, for every negative voice will lead your child to a cross road. But, do you know one particular thing that remains certain and obvious in the life of the child is an accident with his/her future.
Listen to a testimony of a man with positive voice he is called Michael Angelo. Michael went to a ware house, and saw a heap of clothes and he asked the store owner why the heap of clothes were kept at the corner of the store and were not displayed for the consumption of the costumers. The store keeper told Angelo that they were heap of junks, brothers and sisters; do you know what is a junk ? A junk is a discarded article, or shoddy product, or scarps, but Michael Angelo said to the store owner can I have this heap of junks? The store Keeper agreed, this is exactly how many children has been dismissed by their parents as junks. But praise God ,Michael Angelo looked at the junks and he saw great designs from the heap of junks clothes, so are many of you, you are children of great value, forget those that dismiss you, do you know why Michael Angelo saw different types of designs from the junks?, In the junk he saw Hugo Boss, Ralph etc, but to crown it all Michael Angelo’s parents have spoken words of appreciation into his head when he was a child and this voice has lived with him as his companion, for he knows that an object or a person becomes valuable only when you add value to it., but it is unfortunate that, the store keeper was not fortunate to hear the same voice that was spoken to Michael Angelo at his tender stage in life.
Brethren,The first surgeon to separate joint twins babies is a black American by name Ben castle, Ben and his kid brother were the dullest children in their class, but Ben’s history changed when his mother spoke words of appreciation to him, Ben was dull, but his mother knew Ben could do better, so she gave value to Ben, she compared Ben to be reading a book every day in the public library and making a summary of the book he has read, the assignment continued for months, and Ben took it as a challenge, but the funniest thing about this testimony is that, Ben mother was an illiterate, so each time Ben come to submit his assignment to her, all she could do, was look at the summary and nod her head and say, IT IS NOT BAD AND NOT TOO GOOD, telling Ben in another way you can do better than this, so Ben got encouraged and at the end of the semester Ben whom was known for being last in the class with his kid brother was among the best five student in the class, Positive Voice, the next semester Ben Castle became the best student of school and not the class alone and graduated as medical doctor and became the first doctor to operate joint twins, all this was achieved by the positive voice the mother spoke to him, the voice push him to the top, So therefore brethren, you will all come to believe with me that every child has the ability to grow to the top , but all depending on the attitude this child grows up with.
For God created us as unfinished product, why unfinished product? It is for us to bring out the millions of potentials he has deposited in us, so when a child grow up with the right attitude, the child is bound to fulfill that which the almighty has planted in him/her.
Remember what God said about his son Christ before he was born in the book of ISAIAH 9.6-7 A CHILD IS BORN TO US ,A SON IS GIVEN TO US,HE WILL BE A RULER, HE WILL BE A WONDERFUL COUNSELOR,MIGHTY GOD,ETERNAL FATHER,PRINCE OF PEACE, HIS ROYAL POWER CONTINUE TO GROW,HIS KINGDOM WILL ALWAYS BE AT PEACE,HE WILL RULE AS KING DAVIS SUCCESSOR, BASHING POWER ON RIGHT JUSTICE, FOR NOW TILL THE END OF TIME.
This was a message from God to through prophet Isaiah about his son to come, and now the question is what has you ever wish your living child to be?
