Giving Up Is Not An Option

Good Day to All-

I greet you on today in the wonderful and majestic name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is yet another day that the Lord has made. I choose to rejoice and be glad in it. This day has been ordained just for you. What will you do with it?

I trust that all are doing well, as I am.

James 5: 10-11 - Take the old prophets as your mentors. They put up with anything, went through everything, and never once quit, all the time honoring God. What a gift life is to those who stay the course! You've heard, of course, of Job's staying power, and you know how God brought it all together for him at the end. That's because God cares, cares right down to the last detail.

Giving up is not an option.

In this life, you will encounter some dry seasons, rough periods, challenges, obstacles and other forces that will make you want to quit.

You will be ostracized, ridiculed, criticized and talked about, usually for no apparent reason, and usually for doing the right thing.

Giving up is not an option.

You will face financial difficulties, periods of setbacks, and times when you have more liabilities than assets to cover them.

Giving up is not an option.

There will be times when people do not understand you nor the things that you have been assigned to do.

Giving up is not an option.

There will be periods where you will not know what to do, how to do it or even where to go to get it done.

Giving up is not an option.

Life gives us many, many options and opportunities, but giving up is not one that you should accept.

2 Timothy 12 -14 - Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

John 16: 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Psalms 23:4 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Let's pray:

Father, I thank you for another day. I thank you for staying power. I say today, that I will not give up. Whatever the situation, the circumstance, the problem, the difficulty, the unexplainable, and the hurt, I will not give up, quit, throw in the towel or claim defeat. I realize that you are on my side. It is in you that I place my trust. I realize that as I worship you in my secret place, you hear me and you also honor my requests. Thank you God. I will not give up!

Thank you Pastor for reminding us about the perseverance of the saints. ESV Matthew 10:22 and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. NLT Ecclesiastes 9:11 I have observed something else in this world of ours. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise are often poor, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being at the right place at the right time. NLT Matthew 24:13 But those who endure to the end will be saved.
NLT Hebrews 3:14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
