Trust In The Lord

Who is he, an uncircumcised Philistine, to defy the armies of the Living God? I come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel which you have defied. The whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those who are gathered here will see that the Lord saved without sword or spear; the battle is the Lord's and he will put all into our power. Read 1 Samuel 17:26-47

David was successful in his fight against Goliath because his faith in god never wavered. He was not concerned about weapons or human power. To him this battle was between God and those who denied him. He came to the battlefield convinced that God could do anything but fail and that God would give him victory because the battle is the Lord's.

All around David, people thought he was naive, foolharded, ignorant, and overmatched, but they did not understand that none of those things mattered. His greatest weapon was his simple faith and trust in the Lord. All he needed to know was that God was real, and that no weapon, or person could stand against him. He refused to allow defeat to enter into his heart. As a result, he achieved a great victory.

Today it can be difficult and hard even for Christians, simply to believe in God. Skeptical folks says that the bible stories are just legends and that God cannot really perform these miracles that he had done. Others can discourage us from trusting in him. I chose to trust in the Lord so should you. But God wants us to realize that He is the same yesterday and today and forever more.

He was in the days of David the same today, He can still can do anything. Remember that God want you to trust Him just as simple and completely as David did. Declare today his promises to be true in your life. Be bold in your faith, and do not hold back. Believe, God for miracles and overwhelming victory in your life.

Heavenly Father, I commit these situations that I face to you today; I believe you for victory and I will not trust in the things of the world, I will trust in You. I believe that the battle is not mines it belongs to You, In the name that is above every name I thank you in advance for the victory In Jesus name Amen!
