This is a time of transition in the body of Christ. My life right now is a prime example. The first thing the LORD did was tell me he was moving me. I said ok GOD, but what does that mean. I am married, so I asked what about my husband, he said he is going too. Next he told me he was moving us from the church body where we have worshipped for 31 years. He even told me the church we would be going to. The very next thing to happen, I was offered a job with another company in the same city where the new church is. GOD is a GOD who does all things decent and in order. Today (Sept 2) we left our former church with the blessings of ou Pastor and our church family and join the new church body today. Now before you think this was simple and easy, let me tell you it wasn't. I first question whether I was really hearing GOD about the church move, because this had never come up in my life before. Also my husband asked are you sure. I asked him to go before GOD and ask him. I struggled for 2 weeks asking GOD was he sure, which he knowing my heart and why I hesitated gave me reassure everytime I asked. Until 2 weeks later in worship and praise, I asked GOD again, he asked me who did I love more him or the church, which I replied him and peace flood my soul because I had decided to obey.I started my new job August 13, the transition was so smooth, only GOD. Next he has told us it is time to sell our home and he has a time on this as well. This is to assure anyone going thru transition and repositioning, trust GOD he knows what he is doing, for it is all for his glory and for the Kingdom of GOD.For in Jeremiah, he says "I know the thoughts I have toward you, thoughts of good and not evil and for a good expected end", he also says "ALL things work together for good to those who love the LORD and are called according to HIS purpose". All that has happened in our life has been according to the purposes of GOD. Proverbs says "Trust in the LORD with all thing heart and lean not unto thine own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths".
