When Do You Hear God ?

Did someone ever ask you the question:How did you learn to hear God speak to you. Well, my answer is when i have come to say it's okay for my imperfection because god forgives all who falls short. However, i could really hear him when i can accept the painful things that he wanted me to correct in my life that felt good to me but weren't in line with the lord.It wasn't what i wanted to hear; it was what i needed to hear to be in tuned with the lord and hear him speak.It was the things i felt that i needed but couldn't let them go .
