Recently as I was meditating I was asking God how is it that so many are professing salvation and it seems that not many are embracing the principles of Godly living. Let me disclaim here, because I realize that all of us have our personal struggles and I am not speaking about that. It just seems to me that believers are comfortable living in sin (openly - the old folks used to call it shacking), comfortable doing certain things that are contrary to the word of God and although no one wants to be called on their stuff, when these issues are confronted it is responded with "God is a loving God, or God understands, or My God is not like that" and the many other ridiculous things we hear to justify our behavior. The bible is clear we must "confess our faults and He is faithful and just to forgive us our faults" - the problem is no one seems to see going against God's word as a fault.

The second part was that many are not humbling themselves to the sanctification process. Coming from a holiness experience, we were taught that sanctificied was being set aside for the use of God and there were certain things that could not go with that. There are many issues that we struggle with but it would behoove all of us to hate what God hates in order for us to walk in the liberty wherewith Christ has set us free or we are for sure to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. I long to be free from this world of sin but more than that I want to be free from the sin that so easily besets me.

Thank you. For me when I gave my life to Christ I wanted to be free from sin - period. I learned the concept of spiritual salvation but I truly developed in sanctification where the things that used to bind have no power in my life. So I know that perfection is real. God is amazing and his word is true. I am surrending to the fact that those who will hold up the standard must hold up the standard. As I said before, if I am not challenged to raise the bar on my life then what is the point? What hope is there for me to live a victorious life when I can justify my shortcomings, my sin. What hope is there for Christ's victory in my life for me to live as an overcomer? What hope is there for my children, their seed and the people I have been called to lead to Christ? So I will continue to hold up the blood stain banner even as it has to be applied to myself but I won't justify my sin because I am in it... I will pray for forgiveness and know that God will deliver me. I will hate what God hates. Thank you for encouraging me and for real, we are speaking the same thing. Beloved I know that He wishes above all things that we speak the same things...

I thank god for what he had you talk about and what you are talking about is perfection. A lot saints in the body want to say know one is perfect but people must understand what that word mean it means to bring to completion to make perfect according to a given standard as by training or impovement. God was dealing with me last year about sin and that we can be perfect if we die to self every day if we would not just be a hearer of the word of god but do the word . He had told me last year to go to the book of Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Sister as I have been study this thing and god has been giving more and more about living a life with out sin. We can live that way if we turn for real when we repent to god we do not go back to that thing that we know is wrong. And the things that we do wrong that we do not know is wrong that when that when we can help each other get right. Well sister I can talk about this all day but you are not crazy . When ever you want to pray about this are talk more we can my god bless you
